I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful bed and breakfast in Cue recently and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the host Joyce was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.
The room I stayed in was incredibly comfortable, with a fabulous bed and pillows that provided a restful night's sleep. Joyce's attention to detail was evident in the little extras she provided, such as bath robes, disposable slippers, and a great selection of toiletries.
I particularly appreciated the range of milks available for my cuppa, including Bonsoy, Almond, and Oat milks.
The shared bathroom facilities were well maintained and I never had any issues. The common areas of the property, such as the TV room, balcony, and kitchenette upstairs, were comfortable and inviting. It felt like a home away from home.
I regret not being able to stay longer and explore more of the area, but I did manage to visit Bigbell ghost town, which was a fascinating experience.
All in all, I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to any travelers passing through Cue. Joyce is an outstanding host, and her property is a true gem. I will definitely be returning if I find myself in the area again. Thank you, Joyce, for a...
Read moreOn arrival was met by the cleaner, and was under supported, alone and lacked customer service skills and had no empathy as to the fact our keys to our pre-booked rooms had been taken by someone else. This would be due to the scrap of paper with numbers on it but no information as to whose key was whose. The cleaner, instead of asking the wrong person to move rooms, decided to offer me and my husband and our two guests from the uk a shared room. After saying to her this was not good enough and her using some ‘choice words’ to show her frustration she eventually asked the customers to move out of our rooms, in fact she just moved their belongings out of our rooms and handed us our keys.
The rooms were clean, that’s the only positive. Breakfast was included but was not worth it, would have preferred to pay less and go elsewhere for breakfast, which is...
Read moreI booked The Queen to see what it was like. Usually stay elsewhere in town. Bit hard to get hold of them. The owner was in the kitchen getting dinner prepared when I arrived. I was booked into the donga style accommodation at the rear. I was shown around and informed dinner was at 7. Decided to stay for dinner to get the complete experience. I was suprised to see a dressing gown and slippers supplied when I got to my room. Shower and dinner. 2 courses for dinner. Steak and vegies with apple slice for desert. They arent licenced but you can bring your own. The food was delicious and a good helping. A continental breakfast is supplied in the dining room as part of the room cost. I was totally impressed and informed my work colleagues who pass through on a regular basis. I will be back. Thanks Joyce for your...
