Silvertop Cottages — Hotel in Erica

I stumbled across the Silvertop Cottages randomly while looking for places to stay near Walhalla.||I loved all the photos and everything that the cottages had to offer but was worried the real deal wouldn't live up to my expectations of what i saw in the photos.||The place is AMAZING. On arrival, we met the owner Julie who is so friendly and accommodating.||She already had the heater on for us in the cottage so it was lovely and warm, she explained where everything was in town and also have us a Jar of bird seeds as she said they get king parrots and rosellas that come and eat out of your hand and well, thats what i did every day twice a day, fed the birds out of my hands. The house itself is so clean, the linen was fresh and smelled beautiful. There were even DVDs and CDS already sitting on the TV cabinet. The place is fully equipped and it felt like we were at home the whole time. This place is better than a 5 STAR hotel and i cannot rave enough about it. We cannot wait to go back there and ill say, its the best experience i have had, customer service wise, being a clean and gorgeous cottage and its in a gorgeous spot. We cant...

Fantastic cabin, doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is pure luxury.

The photos on accommodation are usually lies but you get exactly what is pictured here. We stayed in the one bedroom cottage and it contained a spa bath and gas heater. The area is fantastic, the cabin was well decorated and the hosts are very accommodating.

They provided DVDs, CDs, milk in the fridge, chocolates, biscuits and icy poles at no extra charge and also lent us some sauce as we forgot to purchase some when we were at the store in Moe.

If you are looking to visit Walhalla or other attractions in the area I could not recommend it more highly. One of the best places I have stayed....

We had another great stay at Silvertop cottages - this time four nights. The cottage has everything you need and it's so peaceful and quiet set in amongst the Aussie bush. There's nothing better than sitting on the verandah cooking a BBQ and eating and drinking on a summer evening and seeing the moon and stars through the gum trees. And this time we watched 3 lyrebirds wander pass scratching away and singing right next to our cottage. And there's easy access to walks in the bush and the local mountain tops, along the rail trail and a visit to Walhalla. Highly...
