Stunning white sand beach. Absolutely gorgeous. Within Francois national park therefore you need a day pass of $17 to get here (or buy an RAC annual park pass if you’ll be visiting others within 12 months. We got ours half price the day before we visited then printed at caravan park office as you must display on your dash). About an hour in on very soft sand - 4wd access only. We deflated our tyres to 18 psi and just floated across the top of the soft sand. Very bumpy in places. Also very hard in places across the salt flats. A gorgeous part of the world. Flies are very very friendly. BBQ facilities available. Also very weird looking spider webs??? in some bushes?

If your looking for a great place to try out your 4x4 then Bottle Bay is the place for you. With great camping sites complete with toilets and gas bbqs. There is access to the Beach for the keen fisherman among you. You are surrounded by nature and the wildlife is everywhere to see. With just a short drive to Cape Peron or Skipjack Point you won't be disappointed with the amount of sea life swimming by. The lookout at Skipjack Point is also a great place to make a phone call if you are with Vodafone as there is no service in Denham. Just be sure you have a good 4x4 and enough water and fuel as there is none up there.

Fantastic spot to camp with very private bays and lots of drop toilet blocks to share the load. I could see the ocean from my site and couldn't see anyone else even though there were a couple of other campers in my section. Great beach to drive onto and if go to the far northern end, not bad snorkeling on a little reef just off the beach. As the beach arcs around it's easy to find your own private area and feel like you're the only person there. That it's an arduous 4WD drive to get there is a positive, as it keeps the area quiet!
