Bluewaters — Hotel in Gippsland

Blue Waters holiday cottages offers good, honest cottage style accommodation at a very reasonable cost.||||While not 5 star luxury, everything was spotlessly clean, and the cottage contained everything you needed. We stayed in Cottage 3 which has magnificent views, and we were lucky enough to see a koala in a tree adjacent to the property.||||Parking is provided outside your cottage, and the cottages are surrounded by wonderful bush land gardens.||||The cottages are a few kms from the township itself, so a car is really necessary, but if you feel like a stroll there is a walking path which will lead you into town.||||A guest laundry is available (free of charge) and laundry detergent is provided.||||I couldn't locate an actual business website for the property, so booked through a third party website - Booking.com - (which l prefer not to do), but everything went smoothly with email communication...

We arrived for a two night stay and hostess greeted us with her beautiful dog Spud.||She told us all about our accommodation and then proceeded to tell us all the places we should go to and see in Mallacoota. Our accomodation was so cozy and welcoming that we immediately asked for an extra night, which was able to be accommodated. Really nice units on edge of town, perched on a high point to give lovely view over the lake. Comfortable bed (quiet, good night's sleep), basic kitchen, air conditioner, nice little ensuite off the bedroom, good parking (bit of a squeeze with a large boat), good sized fridge, small stove and microwave. Great service, and quite reasonable cost. Our only suggestion - please put in a decent sized TV - the tiny and tinnie one in the unit was difficult to watch and lousy sound. Everything else...
