Brigadoon Cottages — Hotel in Gippsland

Brigadoon Cottages feels like a little piece of heaven on earth. The property is beautiful and very well looked after, with stunning gardens and a fairytale-like entrance to it. There is a small forest in the property which is perfect for a short stroll in the bush in the early morning/evening. We woke up to the sounds of kookaburras every morning which was very peaceful.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and tidy, the bed was comfortably made with nice white linen and the indoor fireplace and electric blanket kept us warm all night.

Communication with Michelle (host) was great throughout the whole process, from booking through to check-out. Michelle greeted us upon arrival and gave great tips about the cottage, the property and the area - she recommended some awesome hikes! She also respected our privacy, which is always very appreciated.

There was a plate of complimentary fruit, chocolate and cookies for us at the cottage when we arrived, which was a very nice touch. The attention to detail really shows that Michelle and Edward care about their business and their guests very much.

Myself, my husband and adult daughter stayed in the Tullamore Cottage for three nights. On arrival Michelle met us and made us feel very welcome. We were amazed at the attention to detail and the thought that went into setting up the cottage ready for our arrival from the flowers on the table, the fire set ready to light, the cookies, the chocolate and the sweets. ||The beds were very comfortable and inviting. The bath and the fire were real treats for us. The Cottage was very clean and very homely.||The atmosphere of relaxation enveloped the whole property - the lovely wide open spaces of beautifully kept lawns, but keeping the sprawling gardens look. ||Everything we could have needed was supplied for our use yet the cottage was not cluttered. ||We highly recommend this accommodation as a place to recharge and relax but also as a great place from which to explore the Tarra Bulga National Park and Walhalla.||||Michelle and Edward provide travellers with a perfect place...

My boyfriend booked the cottage for my birthday weekend. The host (Michelle and her partner) was very helpful and accommodating, they set up a surprise for me before we arrived! And yes, the cottage was warm and nicely set up when we arrived very late at9pm.😋 The whole stay was pretty amazing. Cottage contains everything we could possibly need. We had wine next to warm and nice fireplace , romantic candle hot spa. Bed was cozy, robe and bedding were super clean and comfy. Also had yummy breakfast delivered to the room💕💖 Michelle was so patient and welcoming, directed us to the best local restaurants and wineries. We will definitely be coming back some other times!
