Buln Buln Cabins — Hotel in Gippsland

Think twice before staying here despite all the glowing reviews, especially if you are a family with children. Better to find somewhere else with owners who have more experience in hospitality. The current owners have only just taken over the business in the last couple of years, a factor which I attibtute to their lack of understanding. .1. The owners live next door and watch your every move. It's invasive and creepy. This applies to the house which is right next door. The cabins are further down on the property, are a little more removed and so they're ok and could be considered. 2. Don't expect all your bond back. The owners do not understand normal wear and tear. We left the place nearly as good as we found it but they still took money citing excessive cleaning required. Specifically, we lost $300 of our bond for the following reasons. They accused us of soiling 2 of their doonas. Unfortunately, we did not strip the doonas at the commencement of our stay, so prooving otherwise was not possible. They were unhappy some stones were stuck in between the palings of their outside picnic table. They were unhappy some stones were found outside the rectangular boundary which the picnic table was situated. They were unhappy there were some used capgun ringlets found on the property which we had missed with our final cleaning sweep of the prpoerty. You are charged a premium to stay there, and they seem to expect not to have to do anything after you leave. In our two years we spent $7500 with them for 2 x 3 day stays involving 5 families. It's a real shame they had to spoil what could have been another glowing review for such petty things any other commercial enterprise would have put down to the cost of doing business.They cannot be trusted to do the right thing by you...

We stayed this place during the Easter Holiday, 2019. We rented the loft house and the studio which is attached to the house. It has been an extremely unpleasant and harsh experience for us. I do not really know how and where to start. #1, The owner stays in their house next door and they are very nasty and unfriendly. They behaved like a policemen. Whenever there was someone coming to the house we rented, the owners would rush into the property and inspect. For god sake, we were there for holiday! It was so uncomfortable!! #2, The place claims to have three bathrooms. In fact it is only one semi properly functioned bathroom for up to 12 people. The main bathroom does not have vanity unit and there is only one wash tub which is supposed being used in the laundry. The 'second' bathroom does not have vanity, only a shower, and the "third" one only has a toilet which should be named as a powder room in the normal house. It is not suitable for the large group of people. #3, After all of this horrible experiences, the owner refused to return the deposit we paid...

Wonderful experience at Buln Buln Cabins We got cabin 3 and it truly exceeded my expectations. They are spotlessly clean, creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests.

Super standout highlight is the remarkable environment that envelops the place. It's so peaceful and quiet, allowing for a restful and rejuvenating stay. As night falls, the view of the starry night sky is simply breathtaking. It's like having your own personal observatory right outside your cabin.

Surprised by the well-equipped kitchen. It had everything I needed to prepare meals comfortably. This thoughtful addition made my stay convenient and enjoyable.
