I hadnt been to Yarram before, so didnt really know what to expect. Beautiful little arty town with painted Murals one of which is located at the Ship Inn Motel. The owners were a lovely couple who would do anything to make your stay more enjoyable.||The bed was so comfy, and pillows were nice and fluffy. The breakfast box was a great concept too. A nice box with some cereal, a juice box, muesli bar, and a fruit peice, and a diced fruit pot. All of which was great it was the brand names, and not just the cheapy ones. Actually decent quality. Definitely enough for an adult.||The heater and cooler work great. Great fluffy towels, and bathroom items too. Plenty of cups and saucers, plates etc for four people.||The outside of the accommodation really doesnt do it justice, when I arrived at the accommadation I admit I thought the accommodation looks old, but its been freshly painted throughout, and comfy beds, great TV. I would defently stay here again.||Very secure, great service. The only thing i found was when your approaching the town of Yarram, the accommodation appears very quickly on the lefthand side.||Accomodation is near the YARRAM township massive art designed rock. You will notice the speed limit decreases to 80km just about where the accomodation is.||Great for families, couples,...
Read moreOn first going into reception the greeting wasn't warm at all. Received the key told us which number room and left us to find it on our own. The room was very dark and all the furniture and fixtures were very old. Paint chipped walls and furniture, TV old box set half the channels were in black and white. Heater didn't work and it was the middle of winter, they didn't believe us when we told them. Jeff the owner came and fiddled with the controls and said oh it's working now. I then told Barb and she came realised it wasn't working at all. I then had to ask for another room and she had to make sure that it was in working order before we could. Shower tap fell off when we used it. Walls had big cracks above shower, Milk stain in fridge and floor underneath, not cleaned at all. For the price they charged $95.00 for a night it's disgusting. I don't recommend this motel at all worst experience I've had in motels. We had no choice we were there for a funeral so had to stay....
Read moreThe Ship Inn Motel was a great experience from the start. Paul and Jodi gave a lovely welcome from the moment we stepped in the door, they gave us great information about where to go around town and within 15 minutes we had plans for the weekend and directions on how to get everywhere.
The rooms have everything you need for the stay, a toaster, kettle, little fridge, TV and fresh linen. A great addition is the reverse cycle air-conditioners in every room. Other than some thin walls that let sound through, these rooms are totally comfy and nice for the sleep you need.
Yarram will have everything that you need for food, entertainment (Check out Ship Inn's open mic on Sundays from 1-6pm) and is centre to a bunch of great...
