I found this caravan/camping ground to be very a relaxing and friendly place, located on the banks of the beautiful Clarence River in Northern NSW. We had a powered site in a pretty grassed area. The amenities were clean and sufficient for the size of the park. We saw lovely birdlife during the day and night. During the night, there was a cute family of bandicoots foraging around. There are a few long term residents living there who were very pleasant to chat to with a wealth of local knowledge. The area is fabulous for all types of fishing. We caught ourselves a couple of meals! The park doesn't really cater for children, with no play equipment etc. The views of the river are beautiful and peaceful. It is pet friendly & our little dog had a lovely time with us. You can drive into Iluka for groceries etc. Its a small town but pretty well has everything you might need for a short break. If you need more action, its about a 20 minute drive south to Yamba with everything you would expect in a bigger town, also bigger family type parks if that is what...

The whole four days there were a pleasure the owners, permanents and ambience of the place could not be matched.||Amenities and lawns were perfect. It is not the BIG parks that are so commercial that all fade into one and have no character, this place is so, so quiet traffic wise and people respecting others needs.||Caught fish each time I went out under local advice by the owners.||Even got local advice on nesting Ospreys with chick in nest. Plenty of bird life on the water all the sea birds, pelicans abound. Even a Azure KIngfisher out amongst the mangroves.||Very good rates so definitely will return.||Well done Annie, Mike and Greg the keeper of...

Situated in a quiet spot by the Clarence River, the park is immaculately clean and tidy and the Managers friendly and helpful. We appreciated having the concrete slab on which to park the van. We looked at one of the cabins - again, immaculate and beautifully furnished. Being a smaller caravan park, it was quiet and private, surrounded by palms and canefields. The larger and busier centres of Iluka (10 minutes) and Yamba ( 30 minutes) are a scenic drive away. We have already booked in for two future stays!@ Highly...
