A beautiful property with beautiful cabins. A relaxing and quiet atmosphere, great views surrounded by nothing but the sounds of nature. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and their dog Rollo while not hanging around desperate for attention was a pleasure to meet and would occasionally drop in to say hello which I appreciated. The spa had trouble keeping its temperature up in the cold weather, but was nevertheless a highlight of my weekend away. My only real complaint would be that the kitchen drawers were disorganised, the knives a little blunt, and that there was only one chopping board, but that's probably just my food snobbery showing. If I could I'd be giving way more than 5 stars, I couldn't recommend the place enough

You can see why this place is called the view. Absolutely breathtaking, I'd happily spend a week here! The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating (and a pupper too!), and will happily recommend this place to anyone who wants a break in the heart of beautiful Ocean View. We ended up staying in the main house and it would have easily slept 8 people. Some kitchen essentials like dishwashing liquid and paper towels would have been great, but otherwise there was plenty of utensils, cooking facilities and bathroom/laundry facilities 10/10!

I stayed here with family for a wedding I was attending. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful and we loved the hot spa and the gorgeous fireplace complete with the views. There was a couple of things missing that I would’ve liked included for the cabin especially for the price we paid for the accommodation such as dishwasher, coffee pods (there was coffee pods but you had to pay extra to use them), face towels and extra pillows. But nether-less, it was still a lovely stay.

Hi all Recently my girlfriend and myself traveled to a place called Mount Mee for a close friends wedding. As we lived about 12 hours away we needed a place to stay while there. My friend recommended Cabins @ The View as they had a free shuttle service to and from the wedding. I rang to make a booking and from the first Time I spoke to Jenni on the phone who runs the 3 cabins with her husband Russel I had a good feeling. We drove up the day before the wedding which was a 11 hour drive arriving at about 8pm at night. They had always told me anytime before midnight to check in was fine which helped with the distance we had to travel. They gave us the key to out cabin. We were greeted with a warm cabin decked out with a full kitchen, bathroom, double bed with tv, a fireplace and a spa on the deck overlooking the mountain. When we woke in the morning we were greeted with wonderful mountain views with only the sounds of mountain birds to be heard. The spa was fantastic and overlooking the peaceful landscape made it even more relaxing. As promised we were driven to and from the wedding. We were not done until about 11pm at night however that was still no drama. My girlfriend and myself are looking at when we can get some more time off to go back as our stay was like no other. If you are looking for peace and quiet like no other and wonderful hosts that bend over backwards I definitely recommend...

Unfortunately a disappointing stay. Our booked cabin was not available so we were "upgraded". I would hate to see our previous cabin if the cabin we were upgraded to was truly an "upgrade". What we experienced was an extremely dirty cabin - food and spilled and splattered through the fridge and microwave, dirty cutlery and crockery (we used our own to even have a drink), stained sheets, dirty floor (with mud boot prints across it) filthy outside furniture (unable to even sit on and admire the amazing views) USED shower soaps (inc short and curlys) a shower with scum around the base, no hot water in the shower (a freezing cold shower was certainly not enjoyable) and a bath (not that we would have used it) could not be had as there was no spout to even run the bath topped off with frayed towels - just to name the stand outs. Hayden was extremely welcoming and seemingly accommodating when we arrived, however departed the property as soon as we checked in and has since not responded to any emails even when we phoned and advised that there was an email awaiting a response from us. We have NEVER left a review of this kind before, but at $290 a night I feel others should be made aware of what they should expect before sharing in the...

We had 2 cabins for our wedding party of 8 people booked 18 months prior to our wedding date. 3 days before our booking date we received an email requesting final payment for our booking but had incorrect dates. We called immediately to rectify this mistake which lead to them saying there was nothing they could do about it and it was due to a change of ownership leading to incorrect bookings. (We have an original booking email with the correct dates so it definitely was not our mistake)||No alternative was offered other than a refund. I would have thought the party that had booked first would take precedence.||After a frantic search, we managed to find alternative accommodation but being significantly further away from our venue. The new accommodation told us that we are not the first group this has happened to from the cabins @ the view!||If you have booked with this group, I would contact them immediately to confirm your dates, as there is a high level of incompetence with the transfer of bookings between the transfer of ownership that they seem to not...
