⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A magical escape into rustic serenity. Pure perfection!
We just returned from the most rejuvenating stay at Laceys Creek Homestead, and I honestly can’t wait to go back. This 100-year-old heritage homestead is a true gem, tucked away in the heart of nature and surrounded by the peaceful hum of farm life. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the charm of the beautifully restored farmhouse, complete with vintage touches, warm timber interiors, and the most inviting fireplace crackling away.
Waking up to birdsong and the gentle sound of cows and horses grazing nearby felt like something out of a storybook. The property is brimming with life, with chickens wandering past the verandah, kangaroos hopping through the fields at dawn, and native wildlife spotted along the bush tracks. It was the perfect place to switch off, unplug, and reconnect with the simple pleasures of life.
There are several gorgeous walking trails right from the property, each leading to breathtaking picnic spots with views that stretch across rolling hills and valleys. We packed a basket one afternoon and had the most scenic lunch. Pure magic.
Whether you’re after a romantic getaway, a solo reset, or a weekend with family and friends, Laceys Creek Homestead is a must. It’s a rare blend of rustic charm, natural beauty, and true country hospitality. We left feeling rested, grounded, and completely recharged.
Can’t recommend this hidden haven enough....
Read more📍THIS REVIEW IS ON THE CAMPSITE COMPONENT Don't hesitate to book this camping spot, you definately won't be disappointed. From the time of booking, the host Ryan was super helpful and friendly with any queries i had. Nothing was too much trouble. 💫Large flat ground, with a supplied firepit ( BYO firewood ) 💫 power, which was nice as we usually camp completely off-grid 💫Amenities, nice hot shower with supplied toiletries as in shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. This was a totally unexpected, pleasant surprise. 💫Eco toilet, very clean with toilet paper supplied 💫 be sure to take own gazebos as very little shade, but we were well equipped for this so didn't bother us at all 💫 disconnection from internet was perfect, with very little service 💫nothing better than sitting around the open fire, star gazing having a few quiet drinks and toasting marshmallows 💫very peaceful location, relaxing listening to the creek flowing in the background. 💫would definately go back here in the future. 📍One thing we weren't expecting was from about 4:30pm things get very damp very quickly, so much moisture and dew around. After the first night we were then prepared for this each day after.
THANKS again Ryan,...
Read moreRyan & Jess's 1920 Queensland homestead was renovated to the detail of the era. The homestead is attached to the back of there beautifully renovated homestead and has a connected outdoor toilet / bathroom which is just for use of there guests. There is limited wifi, no Tv or Bluetooth devices, power to recharge phones, and the enticing outdoors. There are plenty of walks around the ridges, fog in the valleys, 35 cows or so to chase, geese to announce your arrival, chickens and ducks to feed. If you're not there to completely immerse in the countryside, Dayboro is an easy sealed road drive to Dayboro for all your food needs, groceries and restaurants. But my advise is to settle in with wine, watch the sunset, the cows, and settle in for the night & watch a well stacked lit fireplace. We Feel rejuvenated to continue with the working week & plan on returning to the Hipcamp property by the creek on...
