Stayed here as had a training course just up the road. One key thing to getting to the location is making sure you follow the GPS to a tee, as it is easy to miss the Property sign slightly hidden behind the trees on the corner of the road. I would suggest bringing your own food and drinks as there is no shop on-site or head to the Coles/Wollies 10mins up the road as the property does have a communal cooking facilities to reheat or cook yourself a meal. Tea, Coffee and Sugar aswell as a Jug is provided in nice compact but spacious rooms with Air-Con that works a treat on those hot days/nights as having the doors open can certainly bring in the inspects and mozzies at night. Most rooms have a view of the dam/creek and small vineyard at the back of the property. It is easy to hear other people in adjacent rooms tho I did seem to have very loud speaking adults and kids during my stay, however I don't think this would be much of an issue with more quiet and respectful people The gentleman I spoke to in person when I arrived and via text message to ask questions who I believe was named Grahame (Sorry if I got the name wrong) was fantastic, very accommodating and nothing was to much of an issue and showed me around my room and where all the main items of interest where (Pity more places didn't have this old fashioned attitude) Overall a great place to stay if you want a nice quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city which is also not to far away from things you need Thanks :-)

We stayed overnight here as our final night in Queensland. What a treat! We stayed in the lovers spa suite, which was amazing. A amazing spa with jets and bubbles on the porch, looking out over the lake. We enjoyed looking at the birds, even saw a deer run by! And to top it of there were two (!) showers in the room. Amazing. We had such a relaxing evening. We arranged a late check-in, which was no problem at all. Highly recommend a stay here!

What an amazing place. Stunning views, quiet and best place to recharge the soul. The room was cosy with a very comfortable king size bed. Our host Mark was kind, accommodating and greeted us when we got there. I would highly recommend this motel for anyone wanting to get out the city to unwind and just relax. We were even lucky enough to see a stunning deer walk past the room.

I would normally have loved this place but it was totally ruined by our arrival experience. In the details given before we booked, it stated that check-in was available until 10pm. This should have been fine as our flight was due to land at about 5pm and it was only less than an hour from the airport.|However, when we were advised our flight would land an hour later I contacted the owner via the booking website just to be clear about our arrival time. I received no reply.|As we had already paid for the booking website just to continued and rushed to clear immigration, pick up our rental car and drive straight to the property intending to complete check-in and then go and find somewhere to eat. |We arrived at the property just before 8pm to find it in total darkness and no sign of anyone to tell us which room was ours. There was a sign saying to hoot our horn so we did that (and possibly disturbed other guests) but there was no response. We struggled to find the reception area in the dark but eventually did and rang a bell but still to no avail. We tried to ring the number on the notice board but couldn’t get it to work from our UK mobile. We were on the point of giving up and going to try to find somewhere else to stay when fortunately some other guests turned up. They had been there the previous night and knew the score. They helped us to contact the owner and he told which room we were in. They helped us to find it and then showed us where we could get milk from a communal outside kitchen area so we could make a drink in the morning. They even gave us some of their own leftover cheese and crackers as by this time we were too exhausted to try to find somewhere to eat. The owner made no attempt to come and help us out!|The room itself was lovely. We loved the view in the morning and, thanks to the other guests, we were able to enjoy a cup of tea while watching the wildlife from our bed. We had to go out for breakfast as, despite us having booked this as North Brisbane B & B and winery, there was no sign of anywhere to get breakfast in the morning, so we just packed up and left after a very short nightstop.|We were totally horrified with this as our first night in Australia and thankfully our holiday improved greatly after this. But it could have been so much better if only the owner had given us a bit more info in advance. He could have just told me he wouldn’t be there, told us which room was ours and how to get in, left some milk in the fridge, maybe even a few breakfast items and we’d have been happy. We like rustic and the view would have sold it for us. But our traumatic arrival stressed us out and ruined it....

our stay was amazing as a 24/7 carer even though assisting my partner to sit and relax looking over the lake was simply the best . and a change of scenery for my partner was so benificial for him . though I did forget the binoculars to look over the lake at the wildlife .|we stayed in the disability room as my partner is in a power wheelchair after a stroke this room was amazing door wide enought to enter, lots of room for the chair to move around.| a spacious and fully accessible ensuite for me to assist my partner and the room and deck were fully accessible. |the shared kitchen facilities are great and had some friendly magpies chatting to me as I cooked dinner |Mark is an amazing manager and very helpful nothing was to much trouble we felt right at home and very welcome. we...
