Rainforest Gardens — Hotel in Greater Brisbane

The day was nothing less than magical!! I pictured a beautiful day but this was even beyond my imagination. Right from the beginning Adeline was always so responsive, nothing was too much and this showed on the big day! She kept everything cruising along with big smiles. From greeting me and my parents out of the car with umbrellas as I stepped out into heavy rain then to adjusting my dress. She was simply wonderful and so accommodating. She was very organised, responsive and clear along the way and is a necessity to have in the planning process.

Belinda, the florist - what a gem! She was so easy to work with. I could have never imagined how beautiful those florals would be and how she arranged them was just......breathtaking! She went above and beyond in service.

The venue - Once we stepped back in the car after the first viewing, we knew that was the spot! There is a preserved energy that is held in this space which we were drawn to and felt then and on the day!!! I must admit, we were a little worried about the wet weather plan for the amphitheatre but in the end, we organised a marquee the day before and it looked beautiful. Lucky we did because it did rain but the photos loved the rain!!! Nothing could dampen the day for us.

The view of the reception is just amazing. The venue was complimented with some styling which was quite breathtaking. Styling by Diane at @positivespacestyling was incredible! With only a few meetings the styling team took care of all the details. I'm so glad I outsourced this task because it's all in the details. Guests still talk about the finer details on the tables and decorative backdrop we had.

The food - A big Italian family. There was a bit of pressure here, it needed to be on point! Hubby and I are such big foodies and had a particular style of menu in mind which Tanya and the team were able to accomodate for. Everyone loved the food, they all left happy and satisfied, there were no complaints (which can be unsual for a wedding)

I really couldn't fault the day, It was truly MAGICAL. That word reflects the day perfectly!!

My hot tips for the next couple planning their day here: Outsource the most time consuming tasks! Have the guests eating dinner as the sun is about to set so they can enjoy that view!! Schedule 15 mins in the timeline with your hubby/wife to be and visit the reception area to take it all in before your guests arrive. Then greet your guests on the way up...

Our wedding day at Rainforest Gardens was everything I had hoped for and more!

As soon as I arrived to the venue on my day, I felt my wedding come alive as I saw all of my guests seated around the amphitheatre for the ceremony. Every single guest commented on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. Our ceremony was more beautiful than I could of imagined and everything played out perfectly! When I walked into the reception, I was just wowed at how beautiful everything was set up and matched my vision exactly. It was the perfect ambience on our special night and lighting, chairs, tables and concrete floors gave it that rustic feel.

Adeline was a delight to work with and was so professional and organised right from the start. She was so helpful in helping to plan my wedding and answered every single one of my countless emails. She was so accommodating when I requested that I wanted my napkins a certain way, and allowed my dream to happen. Adeline and her team are amazing and were all so professional on the night, liaising with all on my vendors on the day, serving drinks and food and helped alter our meal times when our speeches ran over time. Tanya from Private Chefs of Brisbane, was great with all of her emails and her and her team served the most delicious food. My salmon was larger than what I would receive at a restaurant and cooked to perfection. Belinda from Rainforest Gardens Florist, was super helpful and turned my dream bouquets into a reality just from photographs and emails.

We can't recommend Rainforest Gardens enough! We found the venue through an Instagram post, we immediately looked at the website and pricing and thought it was all too good to be true (but it wasn't!) We booked a viewing, fell in love and booked our wedding straight away.

It can be quite hard finding pet friendly venues - at Rainforest Gardens we were lucky enough to be able to have our dog feature in our ceremony which made our day truly special.

The ceremony, reception and photo locations are all so different and unique - our guests were blown away by each location and views of the bay. And of course, who can forget hanging out with Alpacas and baby chicks!

The food was amazing - our guests are still talking about it weeks later. We also loved that we could purchase the alcohol our self and drop it to the venue - this saved us so much money! Plus we got to take the left over alcohol home at the end of the night.

Adeline, our wedding coordinator, was nothing short of amazing. She was always so helpful and accommodating - I probably sent 100 emails and repeated the same questions but she was always ready to help. She also shared helpful online tools (Planning Pod) which made planning the reception layout so much easier!

Belinda, the Rainforest Garden Florist, was always prompt in responding to our emails and did an amazing job to work within our budget.
