Two Little Witches Cottage Retreats — Hotel in Greater Brisbane

My partner & I stayed at the Golden Wattle Cottage for a week, & I must say - it was worth it!! The cottage was beautiful, private & had everything we needed amenities wise (the bed was super comfy!!); the views were spectacular every morning & sunset; the animals were gorgeous - Tank & Stormy (Highland Cows) were definitely my personal favourites! Hosts organised a feeding of their animals that we could attend - honestly the biggest highlight of my trip was seeing Tank & Stormy run & prance around happily & excitedly. The cottage is only a short 10min drive to Dayboro for food, restaurants, chemist, etc which adds to the convenience you'll find here. The hosts are both friendly, super responsive & happy to help with your stay or any issues than may arise (e.g. changing gas bottles for hot water) so please reach out to them if you have any questions or concerns. I took my partner out for her birthday weekend at this cottage, and she absolutely love it! The place was cozy but also has all the luxury touch, the bathtub, the robe and the bed and the linens were all very comfy. Soaking in the bath and relaxing with mountains surrounding us was the best part! The induction cooktop cooked so fast, was brilliant! Eventhough it is on a farm, everything is very clean and stylish. I also love the rain water shower and the floor is o ceiling window in the shower room. The toiletry product was quite pleasant to use and had very nice smell, I didn’t even use my own this time. The only thing wasn’t as perfect was the cottage was too close to the main road, I had to draw the blind to cover the balcony for privacy, which was also nice but you don’t get the full view. Apart from that, everything was perfect! I definitely recommend this place to friends...

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special. Kavita & Arif have created the most thoughtful and welcoming escape — every little detail has been so carefully considered, and it truly makes all the difference.

The peace and quiet here is something you can’t put into words. Surrounded by natural beauty, it feels like time slows down in the best possible way. Inside, the nostalgic collection of board games and DVDs brought back so many memories and made our evenings just as special as our days.

Every part of this stay exceeded our expectations. It’s clear how much love has gone into making it feel like a home away from home.
