I reckon the Three Rivers Hotel is absolutely spot on. It's a champion pub. Have a look at all the scribble on the ceiling from different blokes that've come and gone as the years have gone by. The beer is excellent and very refreshing after trundling down the Greg Dev road in the middle of summer. Flip a couple of bucks in the duke box whilst you have a game of pool. Especially on a Friday night when all the local ringers from around the place are there having a mountain of beers or rums (only to wash down the dust that they're in all day of course). Make sure you have a counter feed as well. I highly recommend that you do. They're top quality. If you roll your swag out, out the back of the pub (but only if you ask the publican first), just make sure you stay clear of the dong trees. The Three Rivers Hotel is an absolutely marvellous place. Stan Coster couldn't be more right...

We came as a group to stay in Greenvale so we could check out the area. the accommodation, although overpriced, was ok. Bed was comfortable. ||One of our friends organised for the pub to do breakfast for us, which as great that they accommodated us for that, BUT, they never asked about WHAT we might like, if we had any dietary requirements, etc. We turn up for breakfast to see this plate full of food, but certainly nothing flash. sausages, tasteless, pale scrambled egg, tinned spaghetti, bacon and a 1/4 cooked piece of toast. I was shocked they didn't even ask what we might like. I would have been very happy with an egg and bacon sandwich, not all this food that looked like it was slopped on the plate. Quantity DOES NOT = QUALITY!! Maybe ask next time??? :( ||Oh, and then had the Cheek to charge us...
