Long Alley Barn | Lawson Park — Hotel in Hartley Vale

My husband and I eloped at Long Alley Barn on the weekend and it was everything we dreamed of. If you are after a venue that can cater for a small wedding, reception dinner and delivers 5 star honeymoon accommodation this place is it! While Angela and Phil have stylishly restored the barn, it still holds onto its' old world charm and elegance, which we loved.

In the weeks leading up to our wedding Angela encouraged us to visit the property and she took the initiative of setting up the garden studio with a dinner setting to give us a visual of our proposed dining experience. We were blown away by the love and maintenance put into the garden and the home. Long Alley Barn is clearly a passion of the heart and this was evident during both of our visits.

Angela communicated effectively with all of our vendors, and she kept in regular contact in the lead up to our big day- offering not just practical advice but a listening ear. While we were having our reception meal at the garden studio on the property, Angela discreetly cleared up the mess our wedding guests had made (think wet weather footprints, discarded food and toddler crumbs). An unforgettable stay at Long Alley Barn! This place is a hidden gem. Nestled in peaceful bushland with stunning valley views, it was the perfect weekend escape from the city. The barn is beautifully restored—rustic yet luxurious—with every detail thoughtfully curated. We loved the cozy fireplace, the eco-friendly touches, and especially the freestanding bath with a view of the trees!
