Somerton Collection Luxury farm stay accommodation, escape to Southern Highlands. — Hotel in High Range

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at Somerton Park numerous times and once at the Ridge. We absolutely adore Judy and Graham, and their properties are absolutely incredible. Their warm hospitality and exceptional communication make the experience even more delightful.

Whenever we visit the Highlands, it's our go-to destination. We've been fortunate enough to stay at places like Osbourne House and other holiday rentals, but there's something special about the remoteness of Somerton Park and the Ridge, combined with the abundance of creature comforts that make it feel like home (and even better).

The panoramic views are simply breathtaking, and the well-maintained farms provide a picturesque setting. It's delightful to take leisurely walks through the fields and greet the Packers lol. and the Highland Cows. And let's not forget about the fire pit, accompanied by a glass of red wine, and those stunning sunsets. It's simply irresistible!

The fresh eggs from the chicks behind the Ridge are an absolute treat, and for those lazy moments when we don't feel like cooking, the meals from Cook with Fran are simply wonderful. We indulged in the Moussaka and Chocolate dishes, and they were absolutely delicious. Yum!

We're already looking forward to our next weekend getaway, where we'll undoubtedly create more cherished memories. See you soon!

We had an excellent 2-night getaway at Somerton Barn. It’s an absolutely lovely place - very well designed, exceptionally clean and cosy. Everything looks very new. The views in the surrounding areas are just stunning and we spent a lot of time enjoying the views and watching animals in the farm. The Barn is well equipped with an outdoor fire pit, an indoor fire place, as well as wall-mounted heaters, fan heater and air-conditioning. We were amazed by how well we’re being looked after!

Judy and Graham were fantastic hosts with great communication. They checked in periodically that we had everything we need. Thank you Graham for coming by, saying hello when we arrived, helping us set up the fireplace on the first day and letting us know about the picnic spot up the hill. It was absolutely amazing and a PERFECT spot to watch sunset!

On the first night, we ordered dinner from “Cooking with Fran” as recommended. It was REALLY delicious with a reasonable price tag! The main courses, desserts and services were great. Thank you Fran for such a great meal and having it delivered to us. We enjoyed so much.

We should have booked a longer stay at the barn! Will definitely come...

Where do I start ! A truly magnificent property located 90min from Sydney with breathtaking views across the ranges . The owners have thought of every possible kitchen appliance crockery and cutlery for 100 people and your welcomed with a lovely note and a basket of chocolates! The property is stunning with valley vistas from all 4 bedrooms and you wake up to beautiful cattle and the 2 resident peacocks ( Andrew And Shirley 😂) just outside your window ( yes it’s a working property ) . The highlight is the amazing open fire place under the pergola so bring the marshmallows!. The place was spotless when we arrived (so a huge rap for the cleaner ), bedding extremely comfortable and lovely linen . I highly recommend this Somerton Collection to all that want that country getaway in a secluded part of the southern highlands . We stayed in the Somerton Ridge - 4 couples and loved every minute of our stay ! The hosts Judy and Graham are loveliest people and only willing to make your stay that little more comfortable .
