Econo Lodge Savannah Park Tamworth — Hotel in Hillvue

Should you be attending an equestrian event at the Tamworth Horse Exhibition Center then this is the place for you, just a few hundred meters down the road. The Hotel even has a yard for horses if yours require an overnight rest or if your'e travelling further afield, not something often seen or offered elsewhere. There's room for larger vehicles and horse floats to park too. The adjacent conference building (looks fairly new) would also service a function and it has it's own spacious parking area away from the hotel guest area. We found the beds were very comfortable and the water pressure very good, always a plus when travelling. There are shops and restaurants, and a major service station just a short drive (or easy walk) down the road towards Tamworth itself if you need anything. We also appreciated the view across to Tamworth and it many purple flowering...

The staff were very helpful and understanding, as the stay for an 8 day period placed pressure as the availability of accomodation across Tamworth was sressed. My stay was due to the eventally fatal illness of my sister inlaw. Regardlees, the rooms, though old, were very well maintained and well appointed with all the modcons., large screen digital TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, toaster, microwave, kettle, large soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser. The hotel was set well back from the road in a well maintain garden which included a large pool, suitable for junior, a mini tenis court and bbq area. Plenty of parking available...

The 2 rooms we stayed in were brand new, extremely clean and well appointed with king sized beds. While there we could see that the older rooms were being renovated I assume to the same standard as to the new rooms we stayed in.

The hotel is also conveniently located for easy access to the city centre, sporting fields and South Tamworth. Whilst it is on the highway, it is setback so there is no noise.

Breakfast of cereal, toast, pancakes and tea, coffee & juice was also included in their restaurant dining room.
