Black Range Camping Ground — Hotel in Jenolan

Fairly well set up semi enclosed site with reasonable composting toilets. One gazebo with a couple of picnic tables. No open fires ever. No guaranteed drinking water. A tank which usually has some water. Places like these could benefit from a washing up area to minimise food scraps which aren't great for wildlife. That said, the locals get plenty of scraps from the puddle around the tap on the tank where people tend to rinse plates...

Toilets and covered tables. A godsend on the second night of the six foot track. Big camping area and kept clean and tidy. The water tank could be empty as they don't get much rain most of the time, if it hasn't rained there for a week or two, would definitely recommend taking a little more water...

Free camping. Wildlife spotting opportunities in afternoons and at night. Water tank, covered tables, pit toilets. Big grassed areas. No phone reception last time I visited. No bins provided. Access road is unsealed & rough in places. 4wd recommended. 🚫🗑️🔥
