Read moreI found this place when visiting Hopetoun and decided to make a stop on the way back from Esperance. The road is around 50kms of gravel to get to the bay either from the Esperance or Hopetoun side. I had zero phone reception (Vodaphone).
The sites are accurate in measurement - check before you book! The new ablution block has drop toilets. There are no showers here. The beach is amazing - like all beaches along the WA cost line tbh. Quiet, flat gravel blocks. Good enough distance between campers and direct access to the beach...

The only thing, disappointing about the campground is that on their websites it shows photos of stunning rock pools however, we walked around and didn’t see one. The beach had lots of kelp and stunk but couldn’t smell it from the campsite. But - obviously the beach is out of the camps...
