Roo Lagoon Homestead — Hotel in Kangaroo Island

Jonny and Simone are excellent hosts offering great accommodations in an excellent location for all the activities on the west side of the island. This location is perfect as a base for the entire island.

The accommodations were so much more than we expected. We had the right side of the cottage (when facing it). It has 2 queen bedrooms, living room with a nice size tv, washer /dryer (including detergent), fully equipped kitchen including salt, pepper,rosemary, thyme and all spice), cling wrap, foil,toaster, kettle, French press, microwave, etc). The property is gorgeous. There is a pool table, dart board, books and games as well. The most amazing part was the stunning night sky with the Milky Way so prominent. Jonny and Simone are amazing hosts. They have a lovely and huge homestead, filled with everything you will ever need for a cozy stay. Both Jonny and Simone are super friendly as well, they even invited us to join their campfire and we had a lovely night watching the stars in the backyard while the fire kept us warm. Would definitely come back again whenever I visit Kangaroo Island.

We spent a few nights at this amazing place - everything made of wood. What a wonderful atmosphere! It felt like being part of their family. They invited us to have pizza with them.
