I stayed in Cabin 5 for 8 nights in March 2022. I had read some online reviews that were not very complimentary, so I was a little wary. However, all other the other parks either didn't have cabins available for 8 nights or only had bar fridges. As it turned out I need not have worried. As soon as I entered the cabin I was really impressed with the size. On my previous visit to Bundaberg I had stayed in a much smaller cabin for a similiar price. The cabin was spacious, having 2 bedrooms, a good sized bathroom, living area & separate kitchen area. At the front entrance there was a large covered deck with a table & chairs. There was even a small fenced area at the back with a clothesline. One of the reasons I chose this park was because the cabin had a full size fridge. Both bedrooms have builtins which are not shown in my photos. There is also a pantry cupboard in the kitchen, a linen cupboard & broom cupboard in the bathroom. So if you are staying for more than a night or two, there is plenty of space to unpack. I loved the size of the shower. Often cabins have tiny little showers that you can't even turn around in. Linen, disposable earplugs, tea, coffee, milk & sugar were all provided. Most of the park is occupied by permanent residents, which is not a negative. The residents I observed were either workers or retirees. The tourist section is near the amenities & main entrance. I had a look at the amenities block & found them to be spacious & clean. The washing machines require tokens which you can normally purchase at the Office. Because the Office was closed I chose to use the public laundry near Sugarland which accepts card payments. Unfortunately, during my visit the Office was closed due to Covid, so I didn't get to meet the owners or staff. Check-in was contactless & the park had a very good process for that. My dealings with the owner & staff over the phone were very positive & all seemed very friendly & helpful. I observed, staff working every day which is reflected in how well maintained the park is. Although the park is near the airport, bounded by two main roads & the cabin I stayed in was right next to one road, I didn't hear any noise from traffic or planes. The only downside is the distance from the centre of Bundaberg. But the Sugarland shopping centre is much closer & has a wide variety of shops, supermarkets & restaurants. There are petrol stations near the airport. Overall, I highly recommend Bundaberg Park Village. I enjoyed my stay & next time I visit Bundaberg, this park will be my first choice.

Have had the pleasure of staying here on a number of occasions. Room has been clean and tidy on all staffs. Staff friendly and were happy to accommodate my deaf-mute nephew (Duane would like to leave his regards and thanks for the gummy worms!). Staff kept him company while I had to repair a flat on my car. If you get the chance, request the 'alpine log cabin' theme room - such a contrast with the outside palm tree surrounding grounds. Makes you feel like you're in the Swiss Alps (just without the cold!). I am unsure whether it was only there for a brief period, as on my last stay I was unable to see it at the facility. Convenient location and walking distance to everything. 5 stars <3

Probably the biggest peeve for us was our PIN number that gets you in and out of the boom gate took many attempts to work. . We went out for dinner and a show that night and on our return at 11.pm we literally could not get through the boom gate at all this time with our pin. After about 20 attempts and no emergency contact number for staff we had no choice but to leave our car outside the park and walk to our van, in the rain I might add!! Then the next morning we wanted to get away early before the office opened and same thing still couldn’t get the car through with our pin after multiple attempts a kind lady from the park let us use hers. At least then we could get on our way. Amenities clean but no shelves in the shower to put your stuff only hooks on the door. A lot of permanents in this park. Busy road just at the back of the fence with loud trucks and traffic till late. Very budget park thank goodness it was only 1 night and we did...

A bit of a mixed review. We stayed here for 1 night while on our way up North recently. The female Manager wasnt very nice or helpful at all, the gentleman was. The amenities were great, modern, spacious and great water pressure. However I was greeted first thing in the morning by a permanent elderly resident who was also in amenities emptying a bucket from their overnight toilet activities into the toilet Then proceed to wash the bucket in the shower. The shock I was in and the smell, I left in a hurry. There are very limited spots for travelers or campers, most are permanents. There were times when we didnt feel safe and stayed in our accommodation, they stayed up late right outside where we were with many visitors. I think a 2.5 star would better...
