5 Stars – A Hidden Gem on King Island!

King Island Lodge was an absolute standout during our stay – the perfect mix of comfort, location, and charm. The lodge itself is beautifully presented, super clean, and has a warm, coastal vibe that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The beds were really comfortable, and we loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings and ocean breeze.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail – everything from the well-stocked kitchen to the thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like a home away from home. It’s in a great spot too – close enough to town for convenience, but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of the island.

We had a group of us staying and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and unwind. Whether you’re there for golf, nature, or just to unplug for a few days, King Island Lodge is the perfect base.

Amazing house, had everything we needed for 8 of us who travelled to king island for long weekend of golf. The house is immaculate , has everything you need , with an excellent kitchen and facilities. The rooms were perfect for us and the beds very comfortable . The views are amazing and in the wild weather we experienced the large windows looking up and down the coast and out to sea, showed off the ocean and coastline. Bonus is the house had a 10 seat van which we could use for the weekend and had plenty of space for 8 of us and golf clubs. A truly special Easter break with a large family and friends group on the island’s dramatic coastline, with breathtaking views.

Both lodges are full of luxury, that showcase the islands best ocean views from most rooms.

The ‘punters’ sports room was an amazing hit and became our evening hangout.

The oceanfront outdoor fire pit, under a star-filled sky, was the most memorable family experience of our trip.

From playing on Australia’s top rated golf course, to local cheese and seafood, everything was within reach.
