This property is located around 8 minutes away from Lakes Entrance, so easy to get there. Its owners are great to deal with, the rooms are large and beds comfortable. Overall the rooms are clean and have anything you may need. There are animals on site together with a pool and some outdoor activities so heaps for the kids to do. They have kids free zones too, so great for couples. The only recommendations I could make for the owners are: put locks on bathrooms and toilets - as allows more privacy. Consider a couple of free bottle water in the rooms upon check in with a couple of very small chocolate treats - it makes it a more luxurious experience. Do an insect spray in room as we spotted a couple of very small spiders, and go easy on the cleaning spray or whatever scent you use... it was way too strong and we needed to keep windows open for a while to let it dissipate. This place is value for money, and we would stay here again. Great for multiple families too, as in our case got to spend time near by each other but in separate cabins to sleep in... better...

It is always disappointing when the photos of a property are better than the reality. So to start with the good - the place is spotlessly clean, its in a nice quiet location and being able to visit the farm animals is a delight. Now to the not so great - the beds were not comfortable - one was firm the other I would classify as rock hard. There is no excuse for hard beds in this word of relatively cheap bed toppers. The shower is ridiculously small - so much so my travelling companion who is 6'3'' and well built could not fit so did not shower. At 5'7'' it was a squeeze for me - I am not sure of the dimensions but it was only as deep as my arm - so less than 70cm and not much wider. The small and old reverse cycle air-conditioner struggled to keep the drafty cottage warm during our winter stay. The place is a lot older and more tired then the artfully taken photos show. What we wanted was a warm place to stay, comfy beds and a good shower - we got none of these so a...

Eight Acres is where magical memories are made ❤️

I’m loving taking in the breathtaking scenery and serenity of the land down under and bushland setting, in one of the 7 coastal cottages, which is only minutes away from the beach!

Never a dull moment at Eight Acres.. Keeping my team and I entertained with so many activity’s and things to do - this is the perfect friends, family or romantic getaway! (There’s even the Wed Shed, for those wanting to say “I do” 💒)

Play Giant Jenga, Bocce or a game of hook & ring toss around the fire pit at night after splashing around the pool and enjoying the funky pool shed.. I can’t wait to feed the farm animals in the morning 🐓

Thank you Eight Acres, you’ve really outdone Lakes Entrance… I’ll definitely be back with my family for the luxury...

8 Acres is a beautiful venue, the grounds are very nicely groomed and maintained, amenities are updated with a modern touch clean and spotless, Glamping kitchen very well designed with coffee pod machine, nice plates and cups & utensils available, good cookware to cook with. Clean showers and toilets, sparking swimming pool. Glamping tents are modern with plenty of space electric blanket for the bed, umbrella and mozzie spray and torch, garden games and a fire pit. Fairly lights around the camp are a nice touch, Ear plugs provided for The orchestra of crickets, frogs and cicadas in the duck pond near the tents, it Makes for a very easy camping trip, Just bring your clothes and food ! We will be back again thoroughly enjoyed our camp out !

I wish I could give more stars, hands down one of the best places I've stayed at for a staycation. Stayed the night with my husband and kiddies (3yo and 1yo) and was perfect! Owners are very friendly and super helpful even without it having a reception, easy, straight forward check in. Stayed in the Forest cottage and it was beautiful, clean and modern. Each cottage has a fire pit out front and had the best evening toasting marshmallows and sitting around the fire. Friendly farms animals on site with daily 9am feeding and playground on-site. Would be great in the warmer months with a pool and lounging area with lawn games. So sad we didn't stay another night but we'll definitely be staying in the future!!

I had an overnight stay (respite) with my support worker Ben. We stayed at the Farm Cottage, which as the name suggests has a hobby farm next door containing a bull, goats, chickens and llamas. The cottage contains two bedrooms, a living area, kitchenette, bathroom, shower, toliet and front varandah with outdoor dining table. Eight Acres is a beautiful place to stay and I feel so grateful that I had the opportunity to stay there as an NDIS participant. It's only a 10 minute drive from the Lakes Entrance township and is located in a remote bushland area. I really enjoyed my stay here. I'd highly recommend this accommodation for a weekend, overnight stay or a wedding function.
