Rosedale House — Hotel in Mansfield

We stayed at the Goulburn Apartment at Rosedale House in Mansfield for one night on the way home from a camping trip.The House is beautifully presented and comfortably furnished with all the mod cons and and cosy details to make your stay perfect. The Goulburn Apartment on the side of the main house had a main bedroom with a lovely ensuite and Queen bed, and also a sofabed for our youngest child.The spacious open plan lounge area also had a sofa bed for our eldest child. The lounge had plenty of comfortable seating, a fantastic wood fire, dining room and full modern kitchen with all the facilities and stocked pantry for breakfast.The views of the surrounding hills and paddocks were delightfully serene, and it was only a 2 minute drive into town to enjoy dinner at one of the pubs. The house is just beautiful, and suits a range of holiday makers form families to friends. the quality of the finish is outstanding - the high celings and period features all add to the comfort and charm of the place. Rosedale House is excellent.Complete amenities..with big real fireplace and chopped woods ready for us to use.|The door is locked with a pin number that the owner will message to you by phone once you have paid for the house.|Bedroom 1 is really big..one big double bed and one sofa bed which fits 3 children.Also,attached big bathroom and huge wardrobe room to hang our winter and ski jackets and ski suits.|Livingroom comes complete with fireplace and leather sofa set.Also another sofabed which fits 2 adults.|The kitchen is really complete with utensils..pots and pans..high quality cutleries.Also,milk in boxes,sugar,salt..garbage bags..there is even a coffee maker ! Complete with coffee capsules! Also toaster..kettle..and dishwasher!!|There is another bathroom at the side of the livingroom !! |Also , washing machine,dryer , iron and ironing board is provided .|The house is really beautiful..with huge terrace and big field for the kids to run about !!|Really...

We were fortunate enough to spend 2 nights here on a short break in the Victorian Alps and couldn't have asked for a better way to start the trip. Gouldburn Apartment is perfectly located, beautifully furnished and very warm and welcoming with an amazing log fire. The place really felt like a home away from home, you immediately feel relaxed upon arrival. All the facilities and amenities are excellent so we wanted for nothing. We had to call Steve once about a minor matter and he was incredibly responsive and the issue cleared up in a matter of minutes. If you're arriving after dark please note Rosedale House is on your right at the top of Mount Battery road BEFORE the road turns to the left not after as shown on Google Maps.
