Mareeba Motor Inn — Hotel in Mareeba

I wasn't going to write a review but after what happened today. I feel people need to be aware of criminal activities this motor Inn are doing. They are stealing money from old customers accounts after months of staying at this place. Three months ago Our room was paid in full in advance to stay for a week. Following day we were told my two boys are making too much noise. I assured the lady owner we will be out of the place nearly all day. I took my boys out even though it was so hot to avoid getting told off again. Bins emptied beds stripped and floors swept and mopped. Keys in dropped box before we left. It was a sad stay very uncomfortable 🥵 🥵 and 😢 12 weeks later Mareeba motor Inn took out money from my bank card. I called the police. And fair trading. I called my bank cancelled my card and have the payment reversed. My bank said it's criminal activity and they've put an alert on file. Be careful of getting ripped off by these people. No phone reception. No internet...

A family of 3 from Brisbane who came up for a birthday and a funeral. We stayed for 3 nights. River was so accommodating and made sure our room was ready for when we arrived from Cairns a little early. Room was pretty standard but has everything you need. Was neat and tidy too, beds and pillows comfortable. The customer service and grounds were what made it for us. Lovely grassed area for our 6yo to run around, plus the pool is lovely. Asked if we could have family members who were also up come over so we could all catch up. That was no problem… all the kids enjoyed the pool and grassed area. And great that they have a bar for us adults! So pretty to sit on the grassed area of a night time too. Very quiet and peaceful. Family who were staying elsewhere wished they’d booked where we were. Would definitely stay at Mareeba...

Comming to Mareeba there was not many options for accommodation is was between Mareeba motor Inn or Jackaroo, I was a little hesitant with this place due to one of the negative reviews but reading the managers response I decided to give it try and it by far succeeded my expectations, the rooms were perfect size with all the essentials, parking spot right outside your door, check in was a breeze the manager was very kind and informative, unfortunately due to my hangover I decided to eat Macca's but they have an onsite restaurant that I will be trying on my next stay the location was not a problem, it's a 2minute drive to the centre of Mareeba, it's actually alot better to be just outside of town away from the noise in the town square. 10/10 no...
