A Charming place... I was in Melbourne for 10 days for work purposes. Although I was there mainly for work my accommodation made all the difference. It felt like I was home! My accommodation was booked at this lovely place called Burnbank Estate. Burnbank Estate is full of character, charm and presented its own unique history. The ground is full of greenery that everyday after work, as i drive thru the hedge covered entrance and along the driveway with trees and shrubs on either side, it was as if I was driving towards a secret garden. The house itself is so beautiful with all the amenities and modern conveniences. The bedroom and bathroom are cleaned everyday. The owners, the lovely Barbara & Damien, does a great job in running the place - keeping the place clean, cosy and so inviting. They are both so accommodating and make you feel so welcome in their own home, that you feel like you are part of their family. I hope to visit this Charming place again. Thank you very much Barbara &...

Very beautiful house, comfortable beds, reasonably priced. Care takers were nice and attentive. Love the 12 o'clock check out. Large bath too small for large people, hand soap, shower and bath soap were watered down and actual soap was cut up blocks, came across as cheap. There's a cute dog but it leaves hair in the pool and the pool has a bit much algae and not enough chlorine, the spa however had so much chlorine that it burnt our skin, eyes, nose and lungs. Cat is nice but eats off the table in the breakfast room, plates were actually stuck to the table. Yoghurt was out of date but had been frozen. Good supply for breakfast but basic. Plunger and coffee machine is horrible, but good supply of teas. No air conditioning but fans available huntsmans too. Towels were stained but clean. Grounds are beautiful in a wild yet maintained kind of way. Overall it's a nice place but I probably...

The place was beautiful and the owners were lovely! I stayed there the night before my wedding and my wife stayed there with me the night of. We didn't have a chance to really appreciate the entire estate, but we're definitely planning on doing a group visit with some friends in the future! The gardens were gorgeous and I'm sure the pool will be lovely in the hotter weather. If you're planning to be out during the day, just be sure to have anything you don't want the cleaners touching put away. They did a very thorough job with our room, but I'd left a few unmentionables out in the morning and they'd all been neatly folded and put away...
