Rainy Hill Retreat — Hotel in Melbourne

Fantastic accommodation. The owner Prue was amazing. We arrived a little late with barely any time before the wedding we were attending. She offered to drive us the 5 minutes to the venue. The only down side to the accommodation was the lack of air conditioning in the loft. But as prue promised it cooled down in the evening and with a fan was bearable to sleep in. We were woken up by a rather noisy cockatoo but what would you expect staying in cockatoo? To top it all off i left my dress behind but prue popped it in a bag and i recieved it safe and sound a day later. Would highly recommend...

We booked last minute for a one night stay over the phone. The owner Prue was very accommodating even though she was heading out for dinner. The room was set up beautifully. It was a cabin actually. It was decorated beautifully and was spotlessly clean. When the owner came home and introduced herself we had decided to stay an extra night. My girlfriend and I booked this place pretty last-minute for a wedding in Gembrook. I was expecting a quaint little hostel with decent amenities and views. What we got was far grander. The place is fantastic, we had a wonderful loft all to ourselves with a suspiciously comfortable bed, a bathroom with one of those great walk-in showers and an incredible view. Our host, Prue, was the epitome of grace and generosity. She even bloody drove us to the wedding because we were so underprepared! Absolute champion. Can't wait to...
