We booked into this property as we had a wedding to attend close by.||This is an amazing property. The owners John & Sandra have a great eye for detail and quality that is evident in everything about the facility.||The room , which consists of a sitting area Bedroom , fully equipped kitchen (and I mean fully equipped) and the beautiful bathroom , complete with Spa are magnificent .||The kitchen comes complete with a fridge full of quality ingredients for breakfast.||The view over the Gardens are excellent as are the gardens themselves.||This is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Yarra Valley or if you just want to spend some time together in a lovely setting .||Worth every cent if you are looking for luxury...

We just spent 2 very comfortable nights in the Yarra suite at the gatehouse . It is one of only 2 villas set away from the hosts house among stunning gardens in a 2 acre lot . A 5 minute drive to Lilydale shopping for essentials and minutes away from many fabulous wineries . Our host John was extremely polite and helpful and non intrusive . The villa overlooked the gardens and is exactly as described on the website . Extremely clean , spacious and comfortable with all the right luxurious touches including A spa looking onto an indoor garden and water feature . Lovely, cosy villa perfect for a couple surrounded by serene, picturesque landscape. You feel like you've landed somewhere in Europe. John our was lovely and helpful. The little one bedroom villa was stocked with everything you'd want to enjoy at breakfast and more. Sparkling wine, chocolates and lovely Molton Brown toiletries. Although the villa looked a bit dated inside, kitchen appliances, spa bath etc was in excellent condition. Very clean and comfortable. Plus a great range of DVDs if you feel like lazing in in the evenings after a big dinner. The location was perfect and 5 minutes from great wineries and...
