Upon booking, the reception manager explained exactly what to expect from the motel from the off, I advised i had an infant and although she advised the motel was family friendly she did advise there was a large fifo population who also use tge motel and can at time be busy and noisy due to varying work start time ect. This didnt bother us too much and she even seemed to do some jiggling so our room was near the quieter end. From check in to check out, all staff was friendly and super helpful. Functional and clean rooms, great location. Secure parking and overall great little stop off in Karratha. We didnt experience any noise or issues and would go back when passing through. Great little spot and fantastic staff!! They seemed to go out of tgere way to accomadate us which we was super...
Read moreA little bit out of town which is why I hadn’t stayed here before. On arrival my first thought was “mining camp” with a bunch of transportables surrounding a rectangular courtyard. |I was waiting for a bus load of smokers in hiviz to crowd the courtyard but it didn’t happen. The room was dirty, the bathroom had no fresh air and the shower was not clean. I spilt a few drops of milk on the floor and wiped it up with a tissue. The tissue was then black. Apart from a hard plastic chair or the bed there is no where to sit. If you haven't got a car and you would like a meal you will have to walk about 3 km, or get a taxi or be at the mercy of the Econo reception as the meals are made up at the Onyx Cafe and transported the Econo Lodge so what you get will be almost inedible. After seeing what comes from the Onxy Café I...
