I was forced to hire the last available room, which was a glamping tent. Due to other accomodation falling through. The amenities in the tent are as pictured and are okay, but the mini fridge is impossibly small, does not make ice, a microwave with no microwavable plates. It was summer, 40 degrees outside and the tent several degrees hotter, this is really dangerous. The staff never opened the ventilation windoes, even though they knew it was booked, increasing the heat issue when we arrived at 12pm. I was told at booking that it had not been done and i had to do it myself. My makeup even melted in the tent indicating the levek of heat. It was like being in a hot car. It was completely unusable until after 7pm due to the heat. A small fan was provided but this is not sufficient. We had to spend the day in the car with the aircon. For the price, a portable aircon is required for safety. There is no shade around the tent until the sun begins to set. The WiFi does not reach you at all, the other campers are awfully close, and the only 2 close toilets are inbuilt with the showers. This was for at least 100 people nearby. People also guarded the toilets and waited for spouses to leave the other toilet, so they could then shower together. MOST having no regard for the time they are in there. They need separate toilets for people as it was painful and uncomfortable waiting to use the toilet and did not even have a chance to shower. I suffered heat stroke and nearly ended up in hospital. It would be much nicer in any season than summer, the animals are sweet to look at... but I would not return, ever, at any...

I booked online and the website already gave me a good first impression. Clean design and easy booking process.
When I arrived a lovely lady helped me out. My booking was already prepaired so it was a quick and easy check in.
The park itself is very well looked after, large but cute. The location is 1km from main Mount Gambier so it’s nice and quiet during the nights.
They offer various types of accommodation and all in all looked very good.
There are multiple toilets spread out throughout the park and all the toilets and showers are clean.
I liked their camp kitchen area, they have cute lighting and have all the amenities you need for cooking.
If you are travelling with children then this is also a good spot as they have swings, playhouse and jumping area. + Alpacas 🦙
There was staff taking care of the park and you can feel that they make sure everything is up to standard.
The price was very fair. I paid 30$ per night for an unpowered site.
Overall great stay and would...
Read moreWe arrived expecting a tent. What we found... was a sanctuary. Draped in canvas and majesty, our glamping tent at the caravan park didn’t just provide shelter — it redefined the concept of home. From the moment we unzipped the door (with the reverence of opening an ancient tome), we knew we were entering something sacred.
The interior? Imagine the Louvre. But more intimate. With fairy lights. The kettle whispered sweet promises of morning tea. The bunk beds cradled us like the arms of a long-lost relative. And the PRIVATE toilet block? So divine we briefly considered bottling the shower water as holy relics.
One of us wept quietly when we discovered the electric blankets, another declared they had never known such peace.
At night, the stars bore witness to our transformation. By day, we basked in the glory of laminated information sheets and tastefully rustic décor.
We came as city dwellers. We left as disciples...
