Bathurst Goldfields Resort — Hotel in Mount Panorama

Bathurst Goldfields offers a variety of accommodation and meal packages for the Bathurst 1000. We stayed in the motel. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Friendly and accommodating staff. We added 3 extra days on top of the package. The motel rooms have a kettle and bar fridge with cups and glasses. Each floor has a shared kitchen with a microwave, crockery and cultery. The motel overlooks farmland and the city of Bathurst and our room had a little patio where you can watch the kangaroos, rabbits and birds in the paddock. The meals included in the package were great. Full buffet breakfast and dinner/dessert. Heaps of tasty, well cooked food and the set up to feed all the people staying was well run. Meal times suited the track times as well. The location for the Bathurst 1000 is fabulous. A short drive down the back road and you are on the track and going against most of the traffic. We were also able to enter the track precinct at Forest Elbow from the gate just behind the motel. This allowed us to walk on track on non-race days. On race days you can walk around the top of the mountain and get the shuttle bus down to the pit/paddock area. Would highly recommend for any of the Mt Panorama events. Contact early as this...

I didn't actually stay in the motel accommodation.||I was there for the Bathurst 1000 weekend and managed to snag an available bed in a dormitory type room at very last-minute notice.||It was one of four rooms in the building - mine had 4 double bunks.||Beds were clean - as were the toilets and showers.||Accommodation included buffet style breakfast and dinner - which was plentiful enough to not need lunch in between!||The food was outstanding quality with huge variety. If you couldn't find plenty to fill you up you must be very hard to please.||The accommodation would not suit everyone - but for that weekend it was perfectly what I needed and excellent value for money - and walking distance to the track.||The staff were very friendly and...
