Bimbadeen Mountain Retreat — Hotel in Mount View

Great views and warm welcome by the hosts. However, I was very disappointed that the host took our suggestions to improve the cottage living conditions personally. Chris made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable and that was very unprofessional. The whole point of being in the hospitality business is that you accept constructive criticism! Here are the list of things that need to change: Fix the showers - hot water and cold water knobs need to be replaced and the water pressure is too strong. Put in a mini wardrobe from Ikea et al. - One expects a decent place to hang their clothes if they are paying $260 a night! A full length mirror is missing - can get a cheap one from Kmart! Not enough toilet paper, no soap, or other toiletries available - we would have asked the hosts but Chris made us feel uncomfortable by confronting us for not giving her a good review! Breakfast - Basic as absolute basic can be, we still enjoyed it because of the view! 6.Last but not the least it was a beautiful place overlooking the valley and the hills. Bimbadeen mountain retreat is a hidden gem in the hunter valley. We have been visiting hinter, from last 5 -6 years, and this is the best place we have ever lived in hunter region. Chris and Joe are very lovely host, and have maintained this property very well. This place has a breathtaking view of the valley, as it built on top of a mountain.Its close to all the amenities like coles, aldi and cafes. The best part of our stay here was the breakfast which Chris made for us every morning..we loved it ..we stayed here for 2 nights, but would have loved to stay here for some more days.This is a perfect place for a romantic get away or for a family get away as well. Lot of attention is given to detail in this house. We also loved the spa which was in built in our room.
