Blackwood Valley Suites — Hotel in Mullalyup

This place is a Gem in the middle of nowhere (Blackwood) and it is one of the best stays I have had in my job. The furniture and décor is modern to the point that the lamps are Qi chargers on each beside table. There is a microwave and a fridge, I didn't get to use the BBQ no time however the beds were comfy the mattress awesome. TV and WIFI Available. The Manager there was super nice and friendly and assisted me and made sure I had my daily fill of coffee. The Showers and bathroom had all the essentials and very clean and modern with tiles. For a place like this this is how I would like to build my house if I every built one. All in all give this place a go you will be surprised how well maintained and loved this place is and perfection is the motto here nothing out of place. They even have tupperware/containers for left overs how absolutely grand is that. Anyways I Digress if you get a chance stay even for an overnight stay this is the place to be. Only one drawback. Be careful when you come into the drive way especially at night it is difficult to get in or out but once you are in you will definately...

Beautifully appointed suites for a quiet two nights en route back to Perth. Host Erwin was accommodating and ensured stay was comfortable. Room had slow burning wood fire, reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fan. Ever so comfortable bed and linen. Everything we needed for a relaxing break. Full use of kitchen goods including air fryer. Ample amenities to cook almost anything you needed. Beautiful bathroom and shower with great water pressure after a week with so so. Venetian blinds a classy touch. Suite 1 on the corner is the optimum view. The Google TV with complimentary Netflix and Stan was a lovely way to drift off to sleep. Simple appointments like charging points on the bedside lamps made life easier. Just beautiful and luxurious. What you wouldn't expect in a little homestead just off the highway. HIGHLY recommended. (Also fish and chips from Donnybrook a quick 18-20mins away was a tasty takeaway.) The gardens with fog caressing it in the morning was a welcome sight. Thanks Erwin and Brendon....

We had the most amazing time staying at this beautiful property — it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and welcomed. The host was absolutely lovely: warm, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The accommodation itself was spotless, stylishly furnished, and incredibly well equipped with all the little touches that make a big difference — from the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy living space and super comfortable bed. The facilities were top-notch, and everything was clearly maintained with great care.

One of the absolute highlights was the stunning view, we spent so much time just soaking it all in. Whether we were relaxing inside or sitting out enjoying the scenery, it felt like a true escape from everyday life.

This place is a hidden gem, and we genuinely can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed getaway with a personal touch.
