We had the pleasure of staying at the Cabarita Lodge with hosts Vicki and Kim recently and I have no reservation in saying that this place has to be the best, cleanest and friendliest pet friendly place we have ever stayed at..||Even though there are many pet friendly places across the country many have lots of rules and it is always a worry whether or not you will be accepted and feel comfortable and your pet is not stressed. ||No need to worry here at Cabarita a beautiful house set on land about 5 minutes out of the City surrounded by vineyards, horses and dogs.||The rooms are spacious, with a very clean and well appointed ensuite, comfortable bed and good WiFi.||We were allowed to have our dog in the room with us and at time we were entertaining 3 of four dogs as well. They belonged to the hosts and our Toby had a great time playing and socializing with them.||The stay included a Breakfast which was very nice and plenty of.||I would definitely recommend Cabarita Lodge to anyone traveling with or without pets you couldn't ask for a nicer or friendlier place to...
Read moreWe stayed for one night in the self-contained accommodation just after Christmas 2019 on our way to the Barossa. Our hosts, Kim and Vicki, were lovely and made us feel very welcome - great after a very long drive from Sydney. I had my 3 children with me and 2 dogs. The dogs are allowed inside and were also allowed to roam the property. Kim and Vicki were very relaxed about our dogs. Kim allowed my kids to use the water slide that was his grand daughter's Christmas present (terrific as it was insanely hot) & they could also use the trampoline. My kids had a ball. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had enough utensils and plates. And there were 2 (very welcome) tinnies in the fridge! All in all a great place to stay and we would happily stay again. Thanks Kim and Vicki for being...
Read moreWe booked in because we could take our dog and have a few days peace and quiet, unfortunately the hosts have a little white terrier which barked(yapped every time it saw our dog), to create peace we put our dog in our room with the curtains drawn, not fair to our dog but the only way for quiet. The hosts did try to stop the yapping little white terrier but day or night, every time the little white terrier saw our dog the noise was there. After a few days we where glad to leave, we are not little yapping dog people. We felt stressed by trying to keeping our dog out of sight and that we where at fault because of our dog. The hosts are pleasant and tried to make the staying enjoyable but that *&^%$#@ terrier, sorry can not recommend the place if you have a medium...
