Rainbow House — Hotel in Ocean Beach

This is such a perfect place for a weekend away with family and friends. They have an amazing verandah with extraordinary morning views and most of the time you see some birds on the verandah. Everything you need is available like comfy/cozy queen/king beds, pretty much all kitchen stuff, washing machine, bbq area, bottled water, and many more! The host, Irene, really makes sure that everyone is comfy and relaxed. We saw her the next morning with a big smile and checking back on us if everything’s okay. I also love the welcome chocolate on the bed. This is also really close to Ocean Beach where they found Gus, the emperor penguin who got lost from Antarctica. Apart from that, not too far away from attractions like Elephant Rocks, Greens Pool, Treetop Walk and restaurants. Definitely recommending it to...

We travelled to Denmark with our extended family and had the most wonderful time. Rainbow House suited our needs perfectly. We stayed in Rainbow House 1 - which had 2 self contained apartments which were connected. There was plenty of room in terms of beds and bedrooms, as well as multiple large living areas. The upstairs deck with water views surrounded by flowering bougainvillea was stunning. The place was easy to find with straightforward access. Everything was very clean with all required amenities. Irene was very welcoming and friendly, with excellent communication. Hope to stay there again....

We stayed at Rainbow House for 4 days in early December. We had emails from Irene, the owner prior to our arrival and it was clear that she was keen to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We had the upstairs unit which had views over to the inlet and across the lovely garden which was home to abundant wildlife, especially birds. The unit is very well equipped and comfortable and Irene even kept us supplied with with filtered rainwater for drinking. We enjoyed the area and are looking forward to visiting Denmark again; when we do we will be hoping that Rainbow House...
