We have stayed at this caravan park before, this time we stayed for 2 nights and were hoping to enjoy the nice big pool, however the place has really been neglected the pool was green and had lots of debris floating - the bedroom was tiny and the twin bunk room didn't have airconditioning just a fan - it was stinking hot. They also give you linen for the single beds and expect you to make your own beds, not the double, thats made up for you. The couch in the lounge room was very uncomfortable, the pillows kept sliding off. The seperate toilet was good offering, so you don't have to share the shower room and toilet at same time. The shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was blue and smelt extremely chemically and toxic. The pool vacuum was left in the pol so patrons can be tangled up while swimming. I don't know if we will return to this place because we go for the pool and the jumping pillow (which was removed in 2 years ago - and we noticed it has just been left sitting out the back). It was very disapointing that the pool was green and filthy. There is also a loose peg in the rock climbing wall. Grass was not mowed in pool area. Boxes of empty chemicals were left laying around the pool area. The leaf scoop was left lying around the pool area. Rooms were clean, and the double bed was comfortable with good amount of blankets/pillows available. The fridge worked well with nice cold freezer and ice. The playground was good for the kids to play on and the leafy trees make it nice and shady. For $190 a night we expected more. At least the beds to be made and a clean pool.

This is a modern and well managed campground, with everything you could need. Clean tidy bathrooms, a coin operated laundry with washers and dryers. There is a centrally located kitchen block, featuring 2 electric BBQ's, which are free of charge. A decent sized fridge freezer, plenty of prep spaces for the cook of the family, and a big TV to sit back and relax in front of, whilst dinner is cooking. There is also a stunning pool area with a waterfall. It is split into two zones, one for swimming lengths and one for relaxing and cooling off. There are plenty of sun-loungers and a shaded Tiki-Style hut. Common sense is the rule in here, but just to remind you, NO glass inside the fenced pool area. Overall, a really good park with plenty of room. Water and power are available for caravans and campervans.

Stopped here overnight on a trip from Cairns. I stayed in a deluxe cabin that was spacious but nothing fancy. The bed was comfortable after a long drive. My reasons for 3stars is the water pressure in the shower wasn't great, and to only have the option of the rainforest shower head was disappointing. Also not having a TV in the bedroom only in the lounge room not visible from bed was disappointing after a long drive and only 1 lounge with two people wanting to lay down and watch a movie. Probably wouldn't use this as a overnight stop again but as a holiday park as a whole it seems nice and clean and would consider if I was staying in town for a few days.

I can only describe what I have experienced at this park and say that I do NOT recommend staying here if you place any value on your child's safety or respect you as customers.|Our experience staying in a cabin was OK untill I tried to book again |I contacted the office|* to advise the shower door had come of its rails - this should of been picked up in cleaning and maintenance because yes these doors do get stiff to move prior to getting to the point of coming off the rails completely. I advised the office by phone and stated it was not urgent and could wait till we checked out.|* we couldn't find the power switch for the stove and the guy came over after a few minutes...not long but he didn't go straight to it found the switch.|* the swing opposite the cabin broke while my child was mid swing. the rope part of the swing had worn through at the top where it connects to the top rail. again this should of been picked up in a safety inspection prior. my child (10 yr old approx 30 kgs average child) could of broken her neck or anything. I didn't at that point take things further and I will do what I can to warn parents to check the safety of the play equipment supplied. Being a big 4 park that is advertised as being kid friendly i expect a standard which this park failed miserably. I did report the swing breaking while my child was Mid swing to the office as soon as I could.|I tried to book into a cabin again only to find im blacklisted due to supposed damage to the cabin. later confirmed to be damage to the home made bunk bed. At the time I was unaware of any damage but my child has said to me the ladder step ( home made) came off in her hand when she touched it. Again this should of been picked up in a regular cleaning amd maintenance inspection. I was never contacted to pay any damage fees etc. on querying this I was told " it was only a very quick fix just hammering a nail or 2 back in, it was quick and didn't really cost much so never contacted you" this really didn't sound fair and reasonable to me to be held responsible for the lack of maintance. I didnt want to post feedback but felt I need to inform future guests to cover themselves for any claims that should fall into the maintenance of the park being blamed on the guest.|I tried to sort this out with the office when I tried to make the 2nd booking. I was told " Take it up with the owners, they are away in NSW" I asked when they will be back and with snotty attitude was told " when they get here" the attitude of the assistant manager was atrocious. this should not have happened. so No I do not recommend...

We recently stayed 3 nights ( Wed - Sat ) in Cabin #16 |Oasis ??... This is anything but an Oasis!|Dirt & leaves, dead grass & weeds. Seen green grass out in Winton. ||We arrived checked in everything seemed okay until... we walked up the steps & in the door. Floor was dirty, lightshades were full off insects, most light bulbs in ceiling lights were blown, ranghood light bulb was blown, inside & out was dirty, ANTS inside the Cabin, there was Rubbish left on the Balcony from the previous guests.||There is no excuse for dirty accommodation & things not working!||The TV wouldn't work, Husband went to the office Wednesday afternoon & reported this to the Manager Jane, who suggested to my husband turn the TV off unplug it then plug it back in & turn it on & retune it! He later rang you when the TV still wasn't any good, saying everything should be clean & working.|( the manager Jane offered to move us to another Cabin after we had unpacked everything ) you then brought over another TV cable from another Cabin Wednesday afternoon, my wife was sitting on the Balcony when you brought this over. You did not come and fix any mess, like you claimed in your response to my Google review. |Seems you have selective memory!||When you came to Cabin #16 FRIDAY morning to collect the spare TV cable you brought over Wednesday afternoon, my Husband asked you about the Bins, he then told you... The bin in the BBQ area is overflowing with Rubbish, if the bins got emptied daily or as needed like you claim, it wouldn't have been overflowing. Your husband Jason then emptied it around mid-morning FRIDAY!||The grounds are a Pig sty, the pool fence is just bird netting, the children's playground area is just dirt with fallen tree branches and rubbish. |I grew up in North QLD so I know exactly what it is like, & how dry it gets... plenty of water comes out of the Burdekin Dam to water the grass each day.||When the manager was told about the lights not working & it was suggested the cleaners should be checking things, her response was... the cleaners don't turn the lights on to clean, we only know if bulbs are blown if the guest says.| ✨️You can't clean in the dark!||The park & Cabins could be really nice with some care. ||It seems to me you have no regard for what people are telling you in the reviews.||We will never be back or...
