Do yourself a favour and don't book this place. Asked to see the rooms to check if they were clean and they were reluctant before we paid. They let us go ahead after we insisted and I'm glad we checked before we stayed, the family room was tiny with no room to move or put a portacot and it was dark and dingy, old and gross. I knew as soon as I walked in we would not be getting a good night sleep in there. My mother in law wanted to stay because it had let friendly rooms for her two small dogs. The pet friendly room we were shown stank and my mother in law felt sick at the thought of sleeping in there. She's stayed at many clean well kept pet friendly accommodation around the country. When we told them we couldn't stay in that condition they wanted to charge us full price anyway. They wouldn't take the feedback that it just wasn't somewhere we could sleep comfortably. They then told us that we were putting them out and they wouldn't refund us. They had it in their head that we were just trying to find the cheapest accommodation around. We just wanted a pet friendly, clean, environment to sleep the night to break up the trip. We've stayed in many dated motels, no problem with that at all.

They ended up extorting $50 out of us to cancel the booking and not stay. It was better that than them charge us full price regardless of my asking them not to.

In short, don't give them your credit card, don't go there. Gross motel, stay awake and drive the rest of the way camp at the river they're pet...

Atrocious! I'm so upset that I lost $130 here for that horrible space we stayed in. I've stayed here before so I did not expect anything fantastic and I've spent months backpacking in several counties so i know all there is to know about dodgy accommodation but this took it all to a new level. My standards are not at all high. It was so dirty, we left most of our things in the car because we didn't want them touching anything. The floor was stained terribly. Basically we wanted to sleep, shower and keep going on our long journey. Got up super early after a terrible night and was just planning to shower and leave ASAP but found there wasn't hot water. We tried to get help from staff but nobody was answering our knocking for ages. Finally upon going to return the key and some hard banging on the office door, a young guy emerged and came to check the water in our room, shrugged and told us we could shower in another room (even though we were clearly packed). Husband showed him all the cockroach excrement in the room and he appeared unphased. When husband tried to explain to him why we were upset, he told us we should have told him earlier. Location was awesome for our trip with our fur baby but there the awesomeness stopped! Arrived after a long drive looking for an early relaxing night watching Netflix, ooops Netflix should be working but it isn’t working, management attended and said they would return shortly to rectify still waiting……Ok let’s have a shower oh no body wash in the shower and no conditioner both empty, no problem there is shampoo we can use that all good! Now to moisturise after the shower but alas that’s a no again it’s empty. Shower was a combination of scorching/freezing. There was a toaster and kettle in the room and one knife, no plates but there were bowls. Carpet is disgusting 1 pillow per person no additional, bed would be great for 1 person we spent the night either grabbing the sides of the bed to stay in place or rolling into each other. No bedside lamps working in fact the only lighting working was an extremely large extra extra bright fluorescent light about 1m long on the wall, however we didn’t need it because the outside lights which we could not turn off along the verandah were on all night streaming through the window.
