Bukirk Glamping — Hotel in Stanley Flat

There is not many places you can go where actually feels like home 💕 not just how aestheticly charming the entire farm was but the relaxed atmosphere and welcoming entrance that we received at arrival and leaving, it was Absolutely the Best ! 💯 The attention to detail 👌was Exquisite, Fun and Quirky ✨With heated swimming pool, towels provided and night time ambience with the pretty lights was just so Amazing ! The Bar area and Fridge at the pool area which was free to use plus the camp (Whole) kitchen not to mention the free fresh eggs provided, and so much more was awesome definitely set up to make you feel so Welcome and special, there was definitely lots to look at and smile about ... I call it art in the style of Bukirk🐔. The landscape, The sunsets, animals and kid free resort is something that is very rare, Adults need exclusive places like this whether it's couples best friends or siblings this place is a must!! I'm glad we chose Bukirk instead of going to a hotel in the city 🥴. I love that the Alison aka Chook & Co Welcomed to us to her patio, fed us and made our time extra special just through being such a Warm, Friendly, Wonderful Host, She truly loves everyone that comes to stay and you really feel at home. We had so many laughs and learnt about how Bukirk all started the whole place is a Vibe. "Kevin Bacon" the Piggy is so cute 🐷 The Glamping Tents were on point even had Easter eggs in the fridge for us on arrival🐰 Make sure you check out the merchandise shop and spread the word 🔉everyone deserves to have such a beautiful getaway like we had!! 💝 Thank you so much for The Memorable time we had, it felt like family 💯 something I haven't felt in many years and that really means the world to me 🥰 Can't wait to come back...

Absolutely wonderful. The moment we arrive we were met with smiles from Chook, the smiles continued throughout our stay. Chook is a true gem. Friendly, welcoming & helpful. The accomodation is wondeful, we were lucky to stay tent with endless views of the farm, we were able to watch the sunrise from one side and a beautiful set up on the other. The tents are very spacious it was like stepping into the tent in Harry Potter. 😆 so much space.

We had the absolute pleasure to interact with the animals, cows, sheep, chickens and of course toots the goat and Kevin the pig.

The site is very close to town, we went into town in the evening based on Chooks recommendation. We had Italian which was delicious, Chook also recommended a couple places for breakfast which we tried and both were fantastic.

Bringing this back to Chook, she goes above an beyond. We hired bikes one day and rode the Riesling Trail, Chook drove us to the point in town where we could hire the bikes.

On the day we left, we looked out for Chook to say goodbye. We couldn't find her but all of a sudden she came running out with a birthday present and balloons. We honestly can't even remember telling her it was my birthday, it must have been a passing comment but she remembered.

My husband & I recently stayed at Bukirk and absolutely loved it!! The tents are roomy, cosy & super comfortable! Each tent has a decking area with 2 chairs so you can sit outside and look at the uninterrupted views of the beautiful country side (which is where we spent a lot of our time!) and watch the beautiful sunset. The weather was perfect, warm & sunny, but it did rain a little which made it even more lovely - the sound of the rain on the tents is so beautiful! It truly doesn't matter what season you stay here in - there is a pool for the warmer months, of which we used as it was quite a warm weekend & it was blissful! Each bed has an electric blanket & each tent has a heater - I think next time we visit it will definitely be in the winter! Nothing better than cosying up listening to the rain :) Bukirk has some resident farm animals too - Goats, Cows, Sheep, Pig & Chooks. It was so nice to visit them each day. There's also something so peaceful about laying in bed at night & hearing the cows moo and sheep baa as they head to bed!! Bukirk is an easy 5 minute drive from Clare, and yet you feel so secluded out in the country side. It's so quiet and a real de-stresser.
