Not worth your money. Stayed here for my partner’s and mine 2nd year anniversary and we didn’t feel comfortable. The place wasn’t cleaned properly, the wifi kept cutting out, the cups and cutlery weren’t cleaned properly either so had to clean them before using. And there wasn’t a quilt cover on the bed, only a top sheet and thin blanket. There was a blanket in the cupboard but that also didn’t feel like it was enough. First night we stayed I saw 3 cockroaches. 2nd day/ afternoon came and we went to go find the bbq and we were kind of disappointed we had to walk to find it, while cooking our food there was another cockroach. Night time came and we saw a big spider that we tried to kill it but went under neath the bed so my partner looked underneath and saw more dead spiders ( this place obviously doesn’t move their furniture around to properly clean it). I didn’t read many of the bad reviews before booking this place but I really wish I didn’t book this place. Some things you could add to make this place better in my opinion is: better wifi, better cleaners, a small bbq on the deck of your own cabin so you have your own privacy, comfier chairs for outside as they left bruised marks on my partners back and a proper quilt cover. Also have to add we found it quite annoying when we trying to enjoy the peace and quiet when outside, that someone was blowing the leaves for about 30mins every afternoon. I have photos for evidence but I don’t know how to add it to this review. Will try and add later

Largely disappointed with this accommodation. $300 a night is too much to pay for tired old cabins with grounds that are in much need of a clean up. Breakfast poor quality including stale, white bread, some packet spreads and blend43 🤮 despite advertising plunger coffee (at least). The fan and a light didn't work, nor did the freezer. The strength of the Incredible Hulk was required to turn on the taps but we realised after that was because they leak. The tv was tiny with terrible sound quality. The decor is atrocious, and although this is less important; it just doesn't have the luxury feel to it you'd expect for the price you pay. Overnight I got bitten by something in the bed and woke up in a rash. We pulled back the sheets to find the offending insect and there was hair in the bed. Finally, the bathroom products they supply are cheap and nasty and use palm oil‼️ not what you'd expect from a rainforest retreat. The spa was huge though 👌and the cabins are well built otherwise- just in need of a refresh. Probably more a $200 /night price point. Service was additionally poor as I tried to raise these points with the staff but no-one was there in the morning and have had no response via email.

We went here for our anniversary, the location is convenient being close to everything. Had that rainforest feel even tho it was in the suburbs. Room was a huge letdown unfortunately, we had no water pressure, very dirty inside, found old moldy food behind tv cabinet when we went to use power points. They have no bins inside, so the external bin was constantly raided my the local possums. The blinds above spa was caked in thick dust which had turned into mud from the combination or no cleaning and steam from the spa. The blinds also didn't block lit from the driveway and lit up the room. The service was great, nice and friendly. Was also quiet and we really enjoyed the fire. The fire didn't have a flu tho, so was no way to restrict the airflow into the fireplace to bring down the temp of the fire, being such a small cabin, we had to open all the windows as it got so hot, but then all the smoke gets trapped as it's at the bottom of the valley.

I did send email privately with no response I have decided this is what I have to do to get my point across.

My first impression (and the pics online) we were so excited to come and stay.

When we got to Amore and closed the door we couldn't reopen the screen doors (i put the screen door back on the roller but one of the rollers were obviously broken). We couldn't leave the doors open and get any fresh air due to the screen doors and mosquito's which is a thing here on the Sunshine Coast I know.

Turned on the spa and there was short black hair all through it. Im assuming someone had shaved their beard or something (it mustve come out of the jets).

The shower bottom was cracked and I refused to use it.

The roof joins were black (especially near the sliding door above kitchenette) Im not sure if it was mould or smoke build up from the fire place. We didn't even open the fireplace as we weren't planning on using it so unsure of that.

The TV needs upgrading badly! The remote control barely worked (couldnt use the channel or volume button) the back of the remote was not even able to be clipped on. A DVD player?? Where can you even get DVDS these days. No internet service so couldnt even log onto phone or computer to watch anything.

The balustrade on the deck .. my husband leaned on it and and it fell out (right corner)! That was our last visit to the deck.

We were looking forward to going for a walk through the rainforest area to notice it all blocked off (which looked permanent as it was extremely overgrown through there).

Im unsure if we just got an old cabin (Cabin 8) as the pictures definitely don't show what we walked into on the day.

Maybe updating pics and website (re rainforest walks and internet service etc) would be...

Place had good and bad points. Fire place and spa are good and comes with a cheeky bath bomb. Also on arrival is complementary bottle of wine, chocolates, muffins which is a nice touch.

Unfortunately The biggest let down which is what makes me give two stars under average is the bed and pillow and sleep. Unfortunately my partner and I had a dreadful sleep and woke up with back pain and neck pain. The quality of the beds to us is below average. If your someone that loves a HARD bed then this place will be perfect for you. Unfortunately those with bad backs who need a bit more comfort will have a troubled sleep. We asked management for some soft pillows and they had none to give us and told us each bed comes with two soft and two hard pillows. The soft pillows however feel more like medium-hard pillows and the hard pillows are very hard and heavy. Also bed is not pillow top But a cheap hard springy mattress where you can feel the springs whilst you lay down.

Also there is no block out curtains only the cheap blinds which our one was broken as was our soap holder in the shower. Also note if your staying here there is no internet to the rooms to watch netflicks etc. There is a DVD player but not dvds on the complex to choose from so if you want to watch a movie you will have to go to the shops to rent something out. Our fireplace was also not cleaned prior to our stay and full of soot. If the bed and pillows were pillow top and comfortable and of Higher quality which one expects when staying, especially when booking the “luxury cabin” then the star rating would be a four. Please look into replacing the bedding as the bed and quality of sleep is the most important part of any...

My partner and I havent had a break from work in ages so we decided to randomly book this place. |On arrival Lisa was amazing so warm and welcoming and Coco the supervisor was super friendly she just wanted pats. You get a beautiful basket with goodies in it. ||The pool was very clean it was raining when we stayed so unfortunally we didn't go for a swim. ||The Rainforest walk was amazing a bit slipppery when it was wet as it is a wooden track but there are warning signs, when you reach the finish there is a stunning wooden gazebo that is sheltered it makes a great spot to have a picnic lunch.||Now to the rooms it is all one room as it is a cabin/bungalow. But it is very spacious, clean and homely. |We had a room with a really nice clock and painting on the wall simple yet elegant.|The spa bath was wonderful we used it both nights we stayed there and it is very relaxing. |The beds were nice and warm for the climate, as it is still humid and being in a rainforest.|The bathroom/ toilet was clean.|The kitchenette was clean it only has a microwave for cooking. |The view from the cabin is just breath taking, as i said before it was raining most of our stay but it was so peaceful to sit on the back deck and listen to the rain on the tin roof and falling of the leaves.||Best thing yet we got to bring our 2 puppies they loved it being in a new place exploring new things.|The beach and shops were only 6mins drive away. |It was a perfect holiday in a perfect location. ||Lisa has some great plans for this place and I look forward to coming back in a few months time.||- Sorry for the mess in the photos i took them on leaving as i forgot to get some on arrival.||Thanks very much to Lisa,...
