I recently had the most wonderful stay at Black Wattle Farm in Beerwah, and I can’t recommend it enough! The beauty of the place was absolutely breathtaking and peaceful as the nature sounds surround you!
After a rainy night, Saturday morning was simply magical, with mist hanging over the fields and birds singing in the distance. It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Breakfast was provided to us. In the fridge there were jam, butter, bread, milk and fresh fruits. Also cereal, coffee and tea as you wish.
We had the chance to take a tour around the farm, visit the vegetable gardens and feed the farm animals. There were a variety of farm animals such as pigs, ducks, chooks, alpacas, goats, peacocks and guinea pigs! We got the chance to hold baby goats and chickens.
The location of Black Wattle Farm is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Maleny area. The farm is close to local shops, cafes, and everything you might need, yet still tucked away in a peaceful rural setting. We had plenty of options for food and amenities, which made our stay even more comfortable.
Overall, our two nights at Black Wattle Farm were absolutely unforgettable. Comfy beds, cozy setting with a great view and sounds of nature❤️ Whether you’re looking to relax in nature, spend a few nights with friends, explore the farm, or just unwind, this place has it all. I can’t wait to return and experience...
Read moreRecently spent 5 nights at this great B & B accomodation near Beerwah. We visited the area to attend a sporting carnival that went over 4 days. We found the accomodation fairly central for the venues we had to attend to watch sport. We had also not spent much time previously staying in B & B style accomodation.|| Our host Emma was very obliging and friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble for her. She was keen to involve guests in the day to day running of the farm if they were interested and had the time.|| We found when we returned in the late afternoons, we could sit out side and relax much the same as if we were still at home. The weather in August was magnificent after coming from southern NSW where we were having a very dry and cold winter.|| In summary a great place to stay and would certainly revisit the Farm if ever we have cause to travel to the area again.|| A...
Read moreOver from West Australia for a family holiday in Queensland and chose Blackwattle Farm B&B for a three night stay whilst visiting Australia Zoo and the Glasshouse Mountains.||Stayed in the family cabin and loved the farm experience. Our kids (6 and 8) loved feeding the animals every afternoon with Emma and her team (including the farm dogs). ||Sitting around our own outdoor camp-fire each night was a highlight. Thousands of stars in the clear country skies and toasted marshmallows. Great country experience for the kids.||Emma's service and preparation for our visit was great. Fridge full of local produce for a continental breakfast (including local fruits). Nothing to hard to get on request. ||Would thoroughly recommend this accomodation to families wishing to visit the Glasshouse region. ||Thanks Emma.||Dionne, Campbell,...
