We had the pleasure of experiencing Bluff Creek Camp Ground at Bluff Creek Kenilworth recently, and we are delighted to share our positive feedback.

The location is a perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. Situated close to town, it offers the convenience one might need while providing a serene and breathtaking setting. The scenery is truly captivating, seamlessly combining natural beauty with a touch of civilization. The dam, rejuvenated with re-pumped water, ensures a refreshing swim in cool, clear water, eliminating any concerns about stagnant or mossy conditions.

We were impressed by the reasonable pricing of firewood and kindling, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience. The campground hosts were exceptionally friendly, adding a warm and welcoming touch to our stay. The well-maintained grounds, coupled with the abundance of conveniently located port-a-loos.

The provision of a shower block with two showers for males (with uncertainty about the female facilities) added to the convenience and thoughtful planning of the campground.

While the campground itself deserves a 5-star rating, it's worth noting that the only drawback we encountered was the tendency of some campers to set up very close to each other, despite the ample available space. This is not a fault of the park but rather a consideration for fellow campers to be aware of when selecting their camping spots. Don't camp right on top of people you don't know.

In conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bluff Creek Camp Ground and look forward to returning. The positive aspects far outweighed any minor inconveniences, and we appreciate the efforts of the campground hosts in maintaining such a wonderful...

We recently stayed at Bluff Creek Campground near Kenilworth, and it was simply amazing. The views are absolutely astounding, with rolling grassy sites, wide open skies, and an easy atmosphere that made it the kind of place you want to linger at just to soak it in.

The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. Check in was seamless and they seemed genuinely pleased to have campers around. There are lots of sites to choose from, and most are well spaced with a green, grassy feel. Amenities are great, with a couple of amenities blocks that have clean, coin operated hot water showers (one dollar coins). The amenities blocks were clean and everything was well maintained.

Location is excellent, only about 10 minutes drive into the town of Kenilworth, which is a beautiful little town well worth exploring. There is a nice atmosphere and plenty of cafes and shops to check out while camping nearby.

If you stay there, you should also check out Booloumba Falls in Conondale National Park (you need a four wheel drive to access Booloumba Falls, or Booloumba Creek is accessible for any car). It is a lovely waterfall and creek walk with swimming holes near Kenilworth. It is a great day trip from Bluff Creek.

Verdict: Definitely a recommended stay. Lovely setting, good amenities, very...

We visited Bluff Creek (at Kenilworth, Queensland) in September 2021, as part of an organised camping group (approx 50 campers).

This site has been established for around 7 years, is well laid out, and both owners & staff are delightful. They made us (and our pet) feel very welcome.

Some first time observations:

The site is very well groomed, with new-ish landscaping and some mature trees.

The site is adjacent to a wonderful swimming site on the river (see pic), and was warm during our September stay.

They have a number of fire pit areas (wheel rims), which were a big hit for us.

The office/kiosk stocked all the basics, including firewood if needed.

The sites is currently unpowered (not sure about future), but offered good wifi to campers.

The only slight critique issue from us (not complaining) was the mix and locations of fixed shower/toilet blocks with porta-loo's. In hindsight we should have asked for closer proximity to fixed facilities, as I have a family member with medical needs. I have checked with owners, and understand that additional facilities are coming soon too.

Fantastic experience,...
