If you're looking for the ultimate accommodation experience during the Riverbend National Top Fuel Dragster round at Tailem Bend, look no further than BIG4 The Bend Holiday Park. My two-night stay at this incredible caravan park was nothing short of phenomenal, and I can't wait to share my rave review.First and foremost, let's talk about the facilities. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the pristine grounds, well-maintained amenities, and top-notch services available. The park offers everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or flying solo, there's something for everyone here. The spacious caravan sites are perfect for setting up camp, and the modern cabins provide a touch of luxury for those seeking a little extra comfort. But it's not just the facilities that make BIG4 The Bend Holiday Park stand out—it's the staff. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Whether I needed assistance with directions, recommendations for local attractions, or simply a friendly chat, they were always there to help.Of course, one of the biggest draws of this caravan park is its proximity to the Drag at the Bend venue. As a motorsport enthusiast, being just a stone's throw away from all the action was an absolute dream come true. It made attending the event a breeze, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the excitement without having to worry about long commutes or traffic jams. And let's not forget about the atmosphere. BIG4 The Bend Holiday Park has a vibrant and lively atmosphere that perfectly complements the energy of the drag racing event. Whether you're relaxing by the pool, enjoying a barbecue with fellow race fans, or simply soaking in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside, there's never a dull moment here.Overall, my two-night stay at BIG4 The Bend Holiday Park was an experience I'll never forget. From the fantastic facilities and friendly staff to the unbeatable location and electric atmosphere, everything about this caravan park exceeded my expectations. If you're planning a trip to the Riverbend National Top Fuel Dragster round at Tailem Bend, do yourself a favor and book your accommodation at BIG4 The Bend Holiday Park. Trust me, you...

Private Room King Bed. $120/night. April '24||Somewhere to lay my weary head after a day at the circuit is all I needed. Which is just as well as the room was sparse with a bar fridge, small side table for a kettle and some supplies to make a hot beverage, some UHT milk in the fridge and a chair that had a 5 minute rating for anyone over 50 years old. The king size bed was very comfortable. The split system A/C was not used. TV not used. A small table and 2 chairs may have crowded the room but would have been handy.|A sign above the bed stating "Maximum 4 people at a time" made me laugh. Not sure if previous guests had participated in wild orgies to prompt the signage.|The amenities at the end of the building and BBQ's are close by, clean and functional. My room was next to the bathrooms and my considerate motorsport neighbours meant I wasn't woken with slamming doors or animated conversations about blind corners over crests. However if a rowdy group set up next door that would be a different story.|Other reviewers note that rooms are bright at night due to outside lighting. I'm happy to report that this has be rectified by many lights being switched off at 10pm and the fitting of blackout curtains, in my room at least.|The carpark for cars with trailers outside the dorms was barely adequate and encroached into the unpowered campsite area during my stay, if the park was heavily booked it could become an issue.|If getting a good night sleep and being close to the circuit as a competitor or an official is all you want this is great. If it's luxury you're after the cabins looked very good and would be the go.|Overall impression is that the facilities are of a very high standard and the friendly greeting after a 700km journey was much...

My stay at the big 4 park was absolutely appalling, and it could’ve been all adverted by teaching your security some respect and manors!!! throughout my entire stay I was greeted by stuck up security who treated me as a hostile entity, and this ruined my camping trip! I came for the river bend nationals, and I specifically payed for the paddock camping (basically only opened up for the event) with portable potties and showers powered by a loud generator running all night, the ground was no better than the surrounding land outside of the big 4 park, and it was fenced of like a prison yard with one entrance in and out making it extreemingly hard to get to the main ammenities…) which was completely fine in my eyes because this meant we were completely excluded from the actual park, and that was okay with me because I expected to have some slightly louder crews in the paddock… what was not okay were the absolutely relentless night security roaming around on thair buggies straight after the drag strip finished to tell me and my crew to “kill it guys, shut it down now!” when my crew were having quiet drinks and talking about the drag strip earlier on that day.. I also witnessed basically all the other camps have the same thing happen to them! While this all was happening that loud a$$ generator was making more noise than any one, and especially the trucks driving on the highway going past!!! I believe I was targeted and everyone I talked to in the paddock camp felt the same! I would not reccomend this camp to anyone who enjoys small talk after an advent or you’ll be treated like...

A relatively new park with small trees on sites... that will grow in their own time... however this would be the only drawback I could mention. Still a 5 star rating. The staff (particularly Mandy and Leanne) were friendly, extremely helpful and welcoming hosts. As a single mum of a 10 year old (sharing my large tent) and 11 year old (her own some tent), booked to be camping across 2 powered sites (1 a small site with ensuite) for several nights, this could be a challenge in itself. However on our 2nd day, the large tent broke. After 2 highly skilled and helpful guests and I tried for 2 hours to repair it, it was unable to be salvaged. My youngest and I determined to not be beaten.. we slept in the car that night. I approached reception the next day and paid to be upgraded to a 4 bunk room... met with empathy and compassion. We very much enjoyed our entire stay... all facilities and grounds were clean and maintained... best caravan park communal kitchen I've seen and the kids made great friends while using the pool, jumping pillow and playground. Loved it so much, we've changed our plans to make this the next place we go to.... in a recently purchased 2nd hand caravan. Thanks to all for making our stay so enjoyable despite the adversity.

I apologise in advance for my review, I'm not usually so negative. I know this is a new park but I wasn't overly impressed. The camp kitchen was well equipped as was the laundry. A lovely clean pool, a bouncey pillow and play equipment for the kids. That's where it ended for us.The sites were gravel but if we had wanted to put the annex up it was impossible to put pegs in the ground. The gravel was okay underfoot when it was dry but we had some rain when we were packing up and it was messy. Toilets were good, shower cubicles were not designed with females in mind, there were hooks to hang your clothes but only a 15cm shelf to put other stuff, nowhere to put your gel/soap or shampoo and once the water was on it almost soaked the whole cubicle. But the thing that amazed us was to wash your hands clean your teeth and for the men to shave you're literally standing outside at a long trough to do so, it's undercover but open to the elements at each end and everyone walking past. Maybe in 5-10 years when the trees are established it may look and feel less like you're camped on an airfield.

Open spaces, relatively new cabin that had just about everything you need for a comfortable stay, just a couple of things improved would have been a higher rating; No curtains, or black out curtains. Who drinks International Roast coffee? No recycling!?! For a caravan park fraternity and beside a race track where beer is consumed this is a major miss. No mirror casting, even though they are Smart TV, the feature is not available/ disabled. WiFi requires you to logon after 1 hour, which would not be a problem, however you can't use the logon details displayed, you need to create another account. Could be easily simplified. No tissues. There is only 1 aircon in the longe room, so all the bedrooms are cold, unless you keep the doors open and aircon turned up high. All simple fixes, and this would rate much higher in my humble opinion
