This is a must visit picturesque destination!

From the moment you slowly drive down the long driveway admiring the country style gardens and stunning white country home, stepping out of the car to pure country serenity, hearing nothing but the buzzing bees on the soft lavender guiding you to the wrap around verandah, whilst being charmed by the sound rainforest birds in the near distance.

Greeted by attentive boutique staff guiding you to their impressive suite, your eyes will be instantly engulfed by pure beauty as the Veranda House Country Estate boasts a home of pure sophistication and class down to every tiny detail, finish and texture tantalising any designer's dream. From that very moment, you are welcomed into the suite; your senses are lifted by the aroma of beautiful fresh cut timber lightly burning in the slow combustion fire, the scent of freshly pressed linen touched with light geranium oil.

The terrace suite presented as if you were looking straight at a luxury country magazine styled photo shoot, offering stunning large hardwood flooring, travertine bathroom tiles with soft light duck feather filled linen furniture, elegant decor complementing the room and finishings The giant king sized bed was far beyond my expectations, dressed in soft white linen and styled with buttery soft throws finished with giant scrumptious feather filled pillows.

The terrace suite included a perfect size fridge for a cheese platter and drinks. Alongside a basket provided with complementary treats to enjoy, with access to picnic baskets, throw rugs, cheese boards, etc., perfect for a few drinks and nibbles overlooking the breathtaking views this magnificent property has to offer.

Without a doubt, this estate is none of the less one of the most sought-after properties that is in immaculate condition; the hard working owners are tirelessly working away every moment, assuring that it is looking its very best for your stay. The estate owners & staff, were extremely attentive to our every need, lighting the fire and ensuring we were warm, yet in such a private manor, preserving the relaxed moments admiring the views.

While on our stay, we took full advantage of the cedar hot tub overlooking the mountains and the infrared sauna inside the stunning day spa. This was by far the most relaxing part, overlooking the cotton candy skies and sparkling lights off in the distance from the gold coast.

The veranda house country estate serves breakfast in their impeccable Ralph Lauren styled barn, With beautiful cheaster leather lounges, warm crackling fire and darker finishes. The breakfast boasts fresh fruits, yogurts with hand picked passionfruit, French pastry’s and a light home cooked warm breakfast alongside cafe styled coffee and natural juice.

This property was the perfect getaway and a soul recharge we needed. We cannot wait to return and enjoy this beautiful piece of the...

If I could pay a premium price to google reviews and give the Verandah house a sixth and seventh star, I would not hesitate. Sweeping views of the rolling scenic rim mountains, immaculately maintained grounds, and a family of staff that make you truely feel at home. As a newly wed couple our senses were already heightened, but as we drove onto the property we had to take a moment to catch our breath. A charming rope swing nestled amongst alluring garden beds peppered with picturesque daisy thickets, and lavender bushes. We thought we had arrived in heaven, then we walked through the lane way towards to rear of the property, and OH. MY. GOD. Heaven ain’t got nothing on this! Greeted by the lovely Judy we were guided around the facilities and shown to our verandah suite. Inside, The design elements were flawless, it was immediately apparent that there was time, warmth and intent in every single tiny detail. The colour palate, inside and out was subtle yet spectacular, the decor elegant yet cosy, and the warmth of the Dress Robes coupled with each cabins own ‘maxiheat’ fireplace, truely extraordinary. As self proclaimed “foodies” we were overjoyed to read “continental breakfast” on the VH website however, Lawrence and Judy should change that to, Gourmet, buffet breakfast. Fresh pressed juices, seasonal fruits, delicious French pastries, barista made coffee, smoked salmon cream cheese bagels, Lawrence on the ‘Matador’ cooking your bacon and eggs to your absolute desired perfection, the list goes on. Our hearts and gratitude go out to Lawrence, every night he builds a hypnotic fire that always burns through till sunrise, and is gentleman enough to get our suites fireplace raging whilst we laze around the fire pit. We recommend you take the time to experience a sunrise in the hot tub on your stay, yes it’s an early morning but as the old adage goes, the early birds get the worm! I could write a book about every little perfect thing about our stay, but I feel I’m heading towards the end of my character count. So finally, Lawrence, Judy, Jess and Jess, thank you all, from the bottom of our newly wedded hearts for making our honeymoon truely, unforgettable. We will absolutely be returning. With gratitude and great-fullness, the...

A Soulful Escape at Verandah House

Our recent stay at Verandah House was nothing short of restorative—a truly grounding experience that provided the space and stillness we needed to relax, rejuvenate, and reset. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was more than just a place to stay—it was an invitation to reconnect with nature, comfort, and self.

Our room was impeccable—designed with an eye for earthy elegance and thoughtful detail. Every element, from the natural textures to the sophisticated decor, worked in harmony to create a serene and welcoming space. The fireplace offered a warm, cozy touch on cool evenings, while the freestanding bathtub with expansive mountain views felt like something out of a dream. The bed, soft and cloud-like, gave me one of the deepest, most uninterrupted sleeps I can recall in years.

The food offerings were another highlight. The guest kitchen was intuitively set up and easy to navigate, with everything we needed readily available. The coffee was genuinely great—rich and well-balanced. In the evening, soaking in the onsen hot tub beneath a sky full of stars, followed by the deeply relaxing alpine sauna, was nothing short of magical.

Morning brought with it another delight: a beautifully curated breakfast box, filled with local, organic, and nourishing selections. The mix of savoury and sweet treats reflected care and craftsmanship, setting a beautiful tone for the day. After a refreshing dip in the pool, we took our time wandering the pristine, lovingly maintained grounds, soaking up breathtaking mountain views and the gentle presence of native wildlife.

A heartfelt thank you to Judy, Laurence, and the wonderful team at Verandah House for creating such a soulful sanctuary. Every detail was curated with care and intention. We left feeling deeply refreshed and will most...

Outstanding! 5 stars. Although this place is still fairly new, it is easy to see it will become a very popular place to stay! Est 2022, the rooms are divine, decked out with stylish decor, million-dollar mountain views, gold coast views, and 5 star all natural Australian made products. Breakfast is provided, baked goods arrive at your door in a quaint personalised little old fashioned esky, and there is fruit, yoghurt, Granola, juice, snacks, and they are very attentive to replenish stock and ensure you have everything you need in your room. There is a barn living space with Yellowstone themed decor, perfect for an evening cocktail, whiskey, or champagne. 🥂 There are putt-putt golf flags newly installed, a sauna, hot tubs all with views, a pool, communal kitchens, BBQ, and pizza oven facilities, and even a tap where you can fill up your own sparkling water! 💧 There is a day spa on site. Reserve your appointments ahead of time to avoid disappointment. The massages are divine, and I would get one again in a heartbeat. Walk the grounds and enjoy the view from many vantage points. Sit in a deck chair or use a picnic set provided. Plenty of fire pits for winter to roast marshmallows. Ample green open space to walk around, relax, and enjoy the tranquillity. The grounds have herbs and fruit growing around the place, and have lots of bees and wildlife to see. You're nowhere near the main road, so no traffic noise at all. It wouldn't surprise me if this place became a popular intimate wedding destination. It might be expensive but it is worth every dollar. Thank you to Judy, Laurence, Sasha, and Hannah for your hospitality. 🙏 We'll be back for sure!

Dear Judy and Laurie, What an amazing place you have created – truly magical. We had been looking forward to some peace and relaxation, and from the moment we arrived we knew we had stumbled across something special. Walking through the corridor to see that vast, stunning view – it honestly took our breath away. I can only imagine how wonderful it must feel to wake up to that every single day. You and your team made us feel like friends – so warm, kind and helpful. We loved our room, the hot tubs, fire pit and of course the view. I also adored the grounds – the gardens felt almost English in style, and I spent ages admiring the pots, the birds, the nature and all the little details in the décor. It took a fair bit of convincing from Joel to keep me from buying half of your reception area – the pillows, candles, and all those gorgeous touches I completely fell in love with! Our stay was everything we’d hoped for and more. It felt comfortable and homely, yet still so special, with every amenity we could possibly need. There were so many thoughtful details we truly appreciated: the delicious butter, beautiful décor in the room, perfectly sized teacups, the coffee machine, and the Purezza water system – such a convenient touch. The marshmallows by the fire pit, lavender pillow spray, and the fresh fruit salad in the mornings (in addition to breakfast!) made everything feel extra special. These small gestures did not go unnoticed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful estate with us – we will probably never stop recommending it to our family and friends and we’re bound to visit again. Thank you Marketa & Joel
