This place is so special. We stayed two nights and just had the most relaxing, amazing quality time together. It is well equipped with everything you could need, shower was HOT and bed was so comfy. The location is beautiful, surrounded by wildlife and stunning sunsets across the lake. However, if you're looking for a super private camping area maybe look elsewhere, we could see and hear the people next to us which we didn't mind but some might. Also had some friendly chickens (we called them Bert and Ernie) visit, don't feed them and they'll eventually leave you alone. Bring supplies for a BBQ or some campfire potatoes, and pull up a chair by the fire. It's nice to switch off for a little while.

Our stay in the Numie cocoon was simply perfect. The location is idyllic, offering incredible peace and tranquility surrounded by nature. The accommodation was beautifully designed and luxuriously set up with everything we needed to switch off and relax. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the serene atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better escape. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed getaway!

We had the most incredible stay at Numie Freycinet last Saturday night! The Cocoon Tent was absolutely stunning, with water frontage and every glamping amenity you could ask for. It was the perfect backdrop for a magical night after proposing to my fiancée on top of Mt Atmos. Check-in was seamless, and the entire experience was beyond what we imagined. If you’re looking for a luxurious and unique way to experience Freycinet, I couldn’t recommend this spot more

Stayed in Numie for one night in February. Our tent (Tea Tree) was beautifully decorated with a boho theme, and came complete with a comfortable bed, linen sheets, and a mini fridge that gave it a glamping feel. There was a lovely little kitchen hut that was well equipped with a BBQ, gas stove, utensils, and cutlery - with basic condiments and olive oil also provided. The location was also serene, right on Coles Bay. Luggage trolleys to cart bags from the car park area to the tent were also provided, which was very helpful. Wifi is also available and worked well. The bathroom for our tent (Tea tree)was located in a seperate tent, and comprised of an eco non flush composting toilet, a hand basin, and a shower with a large round tub. Whilst nicely set up, the bathroom lacked any electricity, meaning if you wanted to use the toilet or take a shower at night, you needed to take a hand held lantern with you. This was not mentioned anywhere on the website or booking pages, nor by the hosts, and needs to be disclosed, as the tent accommodation is not suitable for anyone that would require assisted/safe access to functional facilities. Also, there was no electrical conduits or lighting available in our sleeping tent either. This was an inconvenience as had we known, we could have planned accordingly and brought power banks and charged up our laptops elsewhere. All up, it is a nice glamping experience, but there needs to be transparency around the services available so that one can decide if this accommodation is...

We stayed at Numie in their Cocoon this June and absolutely loved it. The setting was cold and scenic, but between the hot tub on the deck and the fireplace inside, staying warm was never an issue—it actually made the whole experience feel extra cozy and special.

The vibe of the property is incredibly peaceful and serene. You’re surrounded by nature and wildlife, but still only about 20 minutes from Coles Bay, so you get the best of both worlds: total relaxation with easy access to activities and dining.

The interior design is stunning - earthy Japandi style with thoughtful, calming touches throughout. It feels both high-end and grounded. The bed was super comfortable, and the outdoor kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. We especially appreciated the little extras, like the marshmallows for the firepit - such a thoughtful touch!

The team at Numie were lovely—very warm, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. You can really tell they care about the...

Everything was well thought out..to the smallest details—inside and out. Only 3 sites so we were lucky. Weather was fantastic and waking up the cacophony of birds was just heavenly. Every thing is with sustainability in mind. I wish there was a way to turnoff the photovoltaic lights in the kitchen gazebo (could find the switch) which added to the light pollution and couldn’t fully enjoy the night sky (if there is a way to do so, perhaps instructions or a sign would be great). Super quiet, tucked away few hundred meters away from the main road so it’s easy to miss (just before the marine market if coming from Hobart). Congratulations to the owners for conceiving and putting together this...
