😊: From the moment that you walked in, it had a certain charm and appeal. The subtle smell of timber as you walked through the door was delightful.. The bidding was well dressed and plenty of layers to keep you warm with a hidden bonus of an electric blanket . Parking at the front of the house was also easy, and the views from the Room were so charming , watching the horses from one window and watching the chickens from another. The bathroom was roomy and comfortable with lovely hot hot water, which is an essential for the cold months of Tasmania . The second bedroom was also just as comfortable with an extra pull out bed .
Thank you for our stay. We would totally stay here again or even try one of the other accommodations on the farm.. 😢: There wasn’t anything that we didn’t really like. Read moreFor an awesome horse experience look no further than going through the paces with Stacey & her delightful horse, Holly. Holly not only does everything she is told to do but she does it in a lovely gentle manner. Stacey informed me that Holly originally came from Victoria where she had been in many competitions. ||||A couple of times I thought that Holly had fallen asleep on the job but that was not the case...she was simply focusing on the next task. Stacey does a great job @ explaining the basics of handling a horse & it is all done in a logical sequence. It is a most memorable experience sitting on a placid well-mannered horse with an owner who is passionate about horses! I think should repeat the experience sometime & try some of the other activities @ Robin Hood's Well...
Read moreThis is a truly wonderful place. We stayed in the Cottage and it was so beautiful and comfortable - alot of space, very comfy bed and a nice big bathroom and kitchenette. What i really loved was the personal balcony. We had breakfast overlooking the vegetable gardens and watched the Cows in the background being fed/herded. As a Sydney city couple it was really lovely to unwind on a farm and I can't get over just how beautiful it was. The 4 black ducks and all the baby chicken families were especially cool to see running around the gardens. I would highly recommend this place - We will likely return but to stay a few more days next time. Such a...
