Firstly a message and email was sent out at 9:15am advising that early check in was strictly unavailable due to maintenance, which in my opinion should have been sent out the day before. And as I was driving, I did not see this, and the staff were inflexible regarding this. The staff were helpful with things to see and do, up until the internet went off. I was advised I needed to fix this with the provider myself. This affected my ability to work in the morning up until I left. There were a lot of mould stains on the sheets on the main bed, which I didn’t notice till the morning as they had been placed down the bottom of the bed, and seen while I was making it. The kitchen table wasn’t cleaned. The tv remote didn’t work properly and then changed channels randomly so I just turned it off. The kitchen cupboards were broken, and draws didn’t shut properly. There were dog toys from someone else under the bed, so the room wasn’t cleaned properly. I was told I couldn’t have a late check out even with all these issues, and was offered no compensation for the dirty sheets that I slept in. The outdoor facilities were lovely and the location was great, especially being next to the river. Overall, very disappointed with my stay here.

Unfortunately our stay wasn’t as nice as planned. We booked for 3 nights for Xmas to visit family. We arrived at our first cabin which unfortunately was very dirty so we were moved to another cabin. That too was unacceptable, the floor hadn’t been cleaned at all, there is gosh knows what dripping down the bathroom walls beside the basin, the kettle was unusable, stained bedding, dead bugs on the floor, pans dirty in the cupboards, aircon covered in dust and the couches were actually revolting and not just stained but extremely dirty. I went to wipe the floor so my child could be put down to play but in one swipe was left with the grossest sight so we left and couldn’t return. Management are lovely and tried to rectify the issue by offering a clean the following day etc but after what we had seen we had to leave, so unfortunately we were only refunded two of the nights we were there so we’re feeling this is unfair considering we couldn’t stay there at no fault of our own. $180 down the drain. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place and after speaking to friends in the area we’ve heard it’s gone downhill big time. If only we knew prior to wasting our money!

One amenity block (4 toilets, 4 showers) for the whole park, and the distance from the unpowered sites was 3/4 of the park. The amenities block is ridiculously small, and clothes hooks missing - see photos. The camp kitchen was ok, with an inside BBQ, which is different. Laundry was about the same size as the toilet block, but $5 to $6 per wash and one of the three machines out of action! The general powered sites are packed in like sardines ... not my idea of a great holiday location. In their defence: this park is definitely focussed on Cabins and Ensuite powered sites, which would take some pressure off the Amenities Block. Staff are officious and unfriendly. At $35 for an unpowered site ... I won't be back

When we arrived just after the check in time of 2pm, we were told that our room was not ready for check in. Upon me enquiring if there was another room available for check in now, this was swiftly organised and we were quickly settled in our room. The two bedroom delux was sufficient for a one night stay for two adults, two teens and two children and the kitchen, including an oven was helpful for an easy dinner. We had booked this cabin on a $273 early bird special.||The Queen bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Having extra clean blankets on hand in the rooms was very convenient as I often have to request extra blankets from the office in other holiday parks. ||The couch is definitely due for an upgrade and was quite uncomfortable. However the updated TV's in both the loungeroom and main bedroom were great additions. ||The disappointment was with the pool being closed. I had responded to my booking email in July asking if pool towels would be available during our stay (and I was promptly advised that these were a $5 hire fee) however I was not advised that the pool would in fact be closed for our stay. When road tripping it is vital that the children get some energy out between the daily drives, and our children were dressed in their bathers ready for the pool when they discovered it was closed. If we had known this earlier, we would have arrived to the park later, using some of that kid energy on the way in. This unfortunately meant for some pretty grumpy children. I recommend that when the pool will not be available, you communicate this to guests prior to...

RE: cabin 47. |I booked a holiday cabin for myself and two young grandchildren, when I entered the cabin l was allocated, l was definitely not impressed nor was it up to my expectations nor what l had viewed online. |It was totally definitely. The cabin was old, dirty and the facilities not as described or as photo's acknowledged on your website. |I was not in a position to discuss this at the time as the sign outside of the park stated there was NO VACANCY and l was definitely not in a mood to argue or discuss this with the staff after driving 5+ hours with my 2 extremely tired and cranky young grandbabies. |To advise, the stove was rusty and dirty, the air-conditioning unit was broken and dirty, the bathroom was not as advertised as per the photos of the "holiday unit" which l paid for neither was the bathroom which again was old, dirty, mouldy and had other concerns including poor or no water pressure which consistently went hot, cold, and went from reasonable pressure to a dribble during our attempt to shower. |I emailed the park after I returned home and was given a generic response which did not meet what I expected. This is the worst Ingenia Holiday Park I have stayed in, and the park maintenance is definitely not...
