This weekend we went to Lake Navarino Holiday Park for our friends birthday and had a great experience. The Lake is very big has spots to put caravans or tents and you can also hire out cabins or dorm room looking places and has two glamping tents. They have lots of facilities with a fridge, barbecue, a small wooden stove thing, toilets and showers.

They also have a cafe/restaurant which is open from 8 to 5 and have lots of different variety of foods provided. They also do pizzas and chips until 7 p.m. for us they bought it right to our camp area which was very nice of them.

The staff members are owners of the camp site and are very nice and friendly people make you feel at home. They welcome everyone to their lake beautifully. Also everyone staying around us at the campsite were very helpful and friendly people helped us with equipment to put up our tents and one family even gave us their pump to blow up our mattresses.

Only two negatives which wasn't their faults but there was a gas truck that came at 6:30 in the morning and woke me up and also there are lots of kookaburras that go on your car and peck down and might dent the car.

I highly recommend this campsite to anyone who wants to camp especially if you're a first-timer. We will definitely be going back this time maybe...

AVOID this place. Nice location. Everything else is well below average. Amenities need a huge upgrade, the 70s want their amenitites back. The location is good but their are no level sites. Certainly DO NOT go here for the unpowered sites. They are miles away from camp kitchen and toilets.

Also, the manager/owner was quite pleasant when I arrived, however, knowing where I was setting up, he failed to let me know that a group of 50 people was going to set up right in front of me. Not only were they loud and obnoxious, they went on until at least midnight. Even with ear plugs I could hear them clearly.

I decided to leave the following morning as this was not a peaceful and pleasant camp-site. And the manager clearly didn't care as they were paying a lot more than I was. He seemed a little hesitant to refund me but I think he saw the look on my face and decided...

Camping was so nice, we booked the powered sites, super close to the kitchen and bathrooms. Very shade as well. It was a very hot week and we slept just fine. Clean bathroom and showers, the shower have a good pressure and was hot. The kitchen is extremely small, so make sure you bring your own bbq and kitchen stuff, they were no many utensils there as well. They also have a cafe serving toasties and coffees for breakfast. Also, pizzas and burgers. Close to the cafe you can find a pool and boardgames as well. The lake is amazing, super close to the camping. You can go walking if you want to, we took our cars to have our eskis, nibbles and food with us. Nice facilities and very friendly staff, we are coming back for NYE because we loved so much! Craig and Linda are...

The location is great, plenty of trails and tracks and very close to the lake, oh and the drakesbrook winery is great! The camp toilets are clean and well maintained. The camp kitchen is tiny, barely room for a small family to sit while cooking. Stained kettle and the bbq had a bit of rust on the cooking surface….. I imagine there would be quite a line up when the park is busy. Sadly, if you are hoping for some lovely grass to camp on…… there is none. Don’t be fooled (like us) and think that “powered grass camping only site” means there will be grass. Theres no grass… just dirt, rocks and honky nuts….. which is fine when you are expecting it! Ending on a positive note - saw a heap of wildlife…. Birds and kangaroos… that’s always a win!

A great place set in beautiful bushland for a family camping trip, and close enough to Perth for a one nighter. Lots of different accommodation options and friendly wildlife. Clean and tidy, the only comment to make was the bathrooms were always quite smelly, like they needed some more ventilation, but the door couldn't be propped open as they are combination-locked to prevent non-campers from using the facilities. The walls and doors to the cubicals and showers are also very low! The dam/lake is just a short stroll, and very popular with watersports- the weir in town is better/safer for swimming though. Nice coffee at the cafe. Look forward to staying again!

Lakeside camping, Easter weekend was VERY BUSY but to be expected, yes we where on a sloping ground ... its a dam is supposed to be. Staff where brilliant, prices great, maybe needed more portaloos due to the amount of campers but still again its camping for you, we brought our own but it broke .. Ski boats although some of public where a little selfish and rude with the times they fired the boats up still provided visual entertainment.Kids went on the 4wd tracks and enjoyed themselves. most campers where very helpful and friendly. We will be back again for sure .
