Arnhem Land Barramundi Lodge — Hotel in West Arnhem

This Lodge is amazing and the staff that work here made the experience the best. Laurence and Bailey were super welcoming and friendly towards us when we arrived at the lodge and their interpersonal skills and customer service was impeccable. Laurence and Bailey have such bubbly, positive and welcoming energy and make you feel relaxed and at ease the whole time. You guys are amazing. Matt and the other chefs are amazing too and the good is absolutely delicious. The accommodation is definitely five stars and the accommodation you stay in is amazing. The sunsets you get to see at the dinner table on the balcony are amazing. Plus, you'll be having dinner and then you'll see Jimmy the Blue winged Kookaburra and his kookaburra mates on the branches not far from where you'll be having dinner. They are very friendly too. Bailey has awesome bubbly and positive energy and did an amazing job. Kale and Trevor are also awesome and will take you on a great fishing trip. Legends. Thanks heaps Bailey, Laurence, Kale, Matt, Trevor, the other chefs and staff that made the stay super awesome. You guys are awesome and I had a super amazing time. I just got back from a week at the Barra Lodge in Arnhem Land, 300km north east of Darwin - what can I say - best fishing trip ever and one of the best remote resorts I have stayed in - ever - and have been to plenty. We were catching barra all day - some days 15 each, there were 1mtr barra being caught most days and that got you onto the Mtr board in the resort bar , I only missed out with a 96cm on day two. The ocean fishing was a delight as well with queenies, trout, cod, GT's, mackerel, Spanish flags and many more and in unbundance. The fishing guides are best I have ever had and resort staff so friendly and ready to take care of your every need. The food was magnificent and I am sure I put on a few kgs while there, thanks Serg. ||All in all if you are looking for a place to fish and catch plenty, eat fantastic food, enjoy the company of great and enjoy a couple of ice cold frothies at the end of the day then this is the place to go - 1000% ||Best trip I can remember and I recommend you get yourself...

Barramundi Lodge was the highlight of my Arnhem Land Adventure. |The facilities are amazing, with air-conditioners inside the safari tented rooms to keep the humidity at bay. |The safari tents are just like staying in a top-notch hotel room with a gloriously comfy bed, spacious bathroom and deck to soak up the atmosphere. |The common area has amazing views across the wetlands and is the perfect place to unwind - sipping a rosella-flavoured champagne on arrival looking across that view was divine!|The food was the best that I had all tour, including, of course - barramundi!|The activities were great - fishing for barramundi (I caught 3) and indigenous art/cultural experience were all fabulous.|*Note that it takes about a half-hour drive to get to Maningrida for the activities; & there's not much to do on site so bring a book or something to do (there is wifi available in the...
