Bluestone Ridge was everything we hoped for in a relaxing getaway, and then some! From the moment we arrived, the hosts, Marty and Caitie, made us feel right at home. They even surprised us with a bottle of Pizzini Prosecco—a lovely touch and a tribute to the region's local flavours; no cheap bottle-o stuff here!

The views from our suite were absolutely stunning, perfect for unwinding. The bed was a dream—fully adjustable at the push of a button, so we could truly relax and enjoy the scenery. On arrival, there was fresh homemade bread waiting for us, and it was out of this world—easily some of the best I’ve ever had.

The room was well-equipped with a full kitchen, complete with quality crockery, cutlery, and superb cutting knives—a rare find in holiday accommodation. We loved barbecuing on the Weber each night and dining on the deck as we took in the views.

For couples looking for a serene escape, Bluestone Ridge is unbeatable. If we’re ever back in the area, this will be our top choice without a doubt. Honestly, there was little I could fault the hosts on; the only minor item missing from the room was a box of tissues, which speaks volumes about the attention to detail here.

I’ve included photos of the view from our bed, one of our dinners on the deck, and a still from the stargazing timelapse I took. Bluestone Ridge is perfect for a truly relaxing weekend away. Highly...

what a beautiful experience staying at Marty’s accommodation. This was easily the most well thought-out and spectacular spot we’ve stayed at. The cabin itself was modern, extremely clean and had everything we needed (from a BBQ to pots, pans, cooking utensils, tea, sugar, milk and even fresh bread). The design and layout of the deck was just lovely, and clearly planned out with the guests comfort in mind. The small touches didn’t go unnoticed; High quality Sheridan towels and bedding, comfy pillows and a wide array of games for us to use (ring toss, cornhole etc). There was plenty of fire wood supplied for a camp fire. Marty’s property itself if just spectacular, he has a beautiful dam set up with a rocking swing chair overlooking the dam and pier in the middle with easy access in and out of the dam for swimming. He had the sweetest goats that were so lovely to pat, as well as alpacas, sheep and cows. Marty was kind enough to take us on a tour to the top of his farm, up a long windy steep mountain, and the view at the top was so special. We feel very lucky to have found this place and will without a doubt be returning with another couple - we’re just hoping it doesn’t get so popular we can’t book back...

We visit the high country and King Valley each year and have stayed in numerous types of accommodations over the years. We booked Bluestone Ridge this year and stayed in the Cow suite and were absolutely blown away by the spectacular views from inside and outside the suite. The views over the King Valley and out over the high country to Mt Buffalo are simply sensational, they took our breath away! The play of light throughout the day from dawn to dusk is simply stunning. ||Inside the suites are beautifully appointed with everything to make for a very comfortable stay. We brought food that we cooked on the WeberQ and bought some lovely wines from nearby wineries that we enjoyed sitting on the spacious deck or sitting in front of the roaring fire. ||The booking process is streamlined and Marty, the charming farmer who owns the property, provides detailed check in information prior to arrival which makes the process easy and very straightforward. ||So if you are looking for a luxurious break in an outstanding location with no traffic noise and only the sounds of nature then make sure you book one of the two suites at Bluestone Ridge. You will not be...

Cannot even describe what a gem this place was. It was everything we wanted and more for our stay in the King Valley: beautifully furnished rooms, modern amenities, a view worth a million bucks. We opted for a mid-week stay because many neighbouring venues are closed Tuesday/Wednesdays. The kitchen is decked out with all amenities and outdoor barbeque, plus a loaf of delicious bread on arrival which was a thoughtful touch. We cracked open the complimentary Prosecco when we arrived and were greeted by the owner who started up the fire in the outdoor firepit. It was pure magic outdoors in the late hours of the afternoon warmed by the fire. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've experienced on a getaway and that's without using all the cool functions it had on offer. Our last day was very rainy which was PERFECT for a toasty night in. I highly recommend Bluestone Ridge for anyone looking for a getaway that actually feels like getting away. We can't wait to come back and enjoy the surrounds next time! Thank you
