We have stayed here three times now and I almost don't want to leave a 5 star review because I don't want other people to know about it and it stays a secret! Baffle Creek is a beautiful creek to fish in and Rocky Point is so conveniently located next to the boat ramp, very accessible and quick to launch boats close to the camp grounds. The ensuites are an excellent set up, not having to share a bathroom with others was one of our favourite things about Rocky Point. We could spend all day in the tinny fishing and come back to a hot shower and flushing toilet that was all ours. The bird life here is amazing if you enjoy bird watching. The camp sites all have a fire pit too. There is not much to do here other than fish and relax but it is bloody beautiful. This was our second time staying at Rocky Point Retreat. We stayed for 5 nights over the Christmas period. We stayed in a luxury family cabin and it was great. The bed was comfy and the fridge, which was large, kept all our food cold. Even though it was Christmas with lots of people staying, it was still very quiet. No noise or loud mouths.|Everyone was friendly. We fished off the bank in front of the cabin and caught grunter and bream. Darren and Kati do an excellent job of keeping the cabins and the grounds clean. Rocky Point Retreat attracts the type of people who like serenity, nature and fishing and crabbing. Sitting around the campfire at night was so beautiful. We both really relaxed and enjoyed our time there.|We have finally found our home away from home.
